Was gutted we missed that great chance in the 37th minute!  I was literally praying to the heavens at that point... and I haven't even spoken to God since about 1968, when the infant school headmistress told me to!
So pleased we ground it out in the end, and got those 3 points for B4.  🐏
A great effort all round by us clappers, I thought.  Went really well... although as soon as I sat back down, I had to explain to the querying guy behind what it was all about.  I just find it weird that there are folk in the stadium that don't come on here!   🤣
I didn't cry obviously, being such a tough guy, but yeah, there was very much a lump in my throat... and a hint of a smile as I looked up.
I hope he was reet chuffed!

I'm tempted to say I hope I have that many applauding when I go, but knowing my luck, that will be as soon as they get the news, and a bit scattered, not the planned concerted effort of respect we saw today! 🤣
I was secretly hoping for a minute's worth of "#BeMoreB4" flickering around the electro-hoardings, but then forgot to look, as I was too concentrated on looking up'ards!  Not seen anyone comment, so I assume this didn't happen?  Shame, but fair enough, I guess!
Great to hear B4 got a mention on the commos though.  I too would absolutely love to hear a re-run, if there's such a thing out there?
And of course, as well as Daniel himself, I truly hope the family... and particularly our new mate @B4’s Sister... were touched and proud of the response... as it was no less than he deserved. 👏
He was a top guy then, he's a top guy today, and he'll remain a top guy for eternity.
    Sleep well buddy.

In the interest of balance, they only just stayed up last season.  They averaged 1.5 points per game under Warne and then just under 1 point per game under Matt Taylor, who’s now been sacked.  Without the good start under Warne, they probably would have gone down last season.

Until the last week it has been a long time since I had been at a Derby Match. My Dad has said I’ve probably seen some of the best football so far this season. So, this thread is starting with genuine positivity from me, as my brother Daniel (B4) would also have done. This match means so much more to the Beavis family than any result. We want everyone to wave their scraves and flanges (not literally, ladies 🙈) and raise the roof for both DCFC and Daniel. Please share the details of the applause far and wide.
I’m reliably told I need to predict a 3-0 win to Derby.
My dad, Andy and I, will be in the east stand, stairway 35. We’ll be having a drink before the match and at halftime. Please do come and say hello.

    Bringing the B4 positivity…
Ive only been to two matches (recently) in the last 10+ years but Collins is the player that has stood out for me. Five goals in the two matches out of the three matches in the last week isn’t bad going.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Daniel, sincere condolences to his family.  B4 was the most positive and vociferous supporter of the Rams and I will miss reading his posts on this forum.  We should all take a dose of positivity from B4 and use his energy to push the Rams over the line to promotion this season - this would be the most fitting tribute.  RIP Daniel

I think the recent atmosphere at away games has been toxic. There are a group of belligerent fans who come into the ground tanked up and looking for a fight from the off -  with the players, the manager, the more positive Derby fans.
This is a huge change to the former almost unconditional support away fans were giving the players during administration and beyond.
We've somehow got to combat this. They aren't the majority (far from it) but they are bullies.
I don't expect unwavering adulation, but the atmosphere becomes an almost self-fulfilling prophecy. It makes everyone nervous and every little mistake is magnified, which leads to more nervousness, more mistakes etc.
Our next away game is at Port Vale, where the atmosphere was brilliant last season and we kept backing the team to the end. Look what happened there!
The players clearly have belief in what they are doing. Look how they came back at Crewe when most had given up hope. If we can remember that and get behind them a bit more, it could make all the difference.

Have to disagree. There have been a few dour games with players “off it” but I’ve also seen some good football and at times a team playing as a unit. It’s considerably better on the pitch than under Pearson and despite Cocu’s grand plan and intelligence it wasn’t very exciting at all. Heart in mouth as we fussed around on the edge of our own box waiting for inevitable mistakes and at the other end just not scoring goals. .. naaa I still like watching us and I see goals going in. We aren’t Barcabut I know these boys will be thereabouts a seasons end

Don’t think Clowes was ever sacking him this week, would be too much of a Mel Morris move.
He’s done the right thing by standing up to the Warne Out mob - even if that is now the majority of the fanbase, it still would have sent the wrong message if he’d buckled to fan pressure.
Clowes is the one that saved the club, knows 95% more about what’s going on at the club than we do and knows what the financial implication of turfing out Warne would be
It sounds like he’s giving him an unspecified amount of time to turn it around and treating Warne how we’d all want to be treated if we were in his shoes.
Like Warne or not, this is the right way of doing things. You don’t discard managers after fan backlash - as much as we should be doing so much better than we are.
As far as the football goes, Warne needs to win both of the fixtures this week if he’s ever going to win the lions share of the fans back. As much as I’ve preached patience, I expected we would improve after the international break and a managers job will always be in trouble at DCFC if we’re outside the top six of League One by December
Warne in or Warne out, creating an inhospitable environment for a manager who has just been backed by Clowes would be very disappointing and I hope PP stays positive tonight.

I understand that when the football isn’t pretty, and the league position is dire, football fans will inevitably lash out. However, I am amazed that there are a good number on here tonight slating our owner. This is a staggering state of affairs even for our club, only some 15 months since he saved us.  Cool it down lads.

Yes me and my Son too, not that it matters really as many follow home and away at great expense. Kind of what we do though and is always a choice to you and your Son..
I am not offended by this in the slightest. In fact he is bang on with his comments. If you wish to be offended that you are the outside noise then perhaps that is a reflection more on you than him.
Lets be honest, and as you know considering you were at Blackpool, fans singing PW your football is s**t at nil nil after 30 minutes is pathetic considering we went onto a great victory that night. A minority of fans sung this but still. 3 nil down fill your boots but at nil nil, jesus would have wept.
All Richie Barker did is publically state that they are getting the players focused and to ignore the negative outside noise, of which there is as we all know. This is good management. Keeping the players positive and focused is the only way we will win football games and get us out this league.
You can twist and turn words all you like to be offended in one way or another. Keep a level head and stay positive. It is amazing what togetherness can do.

The question was literally framed as "It's important not to get carried away with outside noise isn't it?" so Barker had every right to answer the question using the very same phrase.
Some people will just choose to take offence to anything if it fits with their preconceived narrative.

Properly get pelters for this as 80% seem to have made their mind up over Warne, but anyone else just had enough with the constant negativity towards the players and staff? It’s relentless.
Even after last nights win I’m seeing people try and twist it negatively, overall last night we played faster tempo had chances and won end off, so why the negativity?
Warnes come out and said last night about blocking outside noise out, really think knocking them will help? It’ll only make it worse, 5 in 11 for Collins decent return, what’s booing him and giving him stick going to do? Why can’t we get behind them? We’re in league 1 we won’t have world beaters that will do everything so perfectly.

1 defeat in 10 due to some terrible refereeing it’s not anywhere near as bad as people are making out, it’s as if we’ve won 1 in 10.
I can be as negative as anyone and as annoyed as anyone when we drop points etc but it’s the bigger picture move on we go again, It’s not an easy league like people expect, Sunderland sheff united Ipswich Bolton etc all got stuck for time, and probably only Bolton started in a worse rebuild situation as us…
it’s absolutely draining all the constant ‘get him gone’ ‘whose next’ ‘he’s just a P.E teacher’ I’ve missed 1 away game and 1 home and it’s honestly making me not want to go, Blackpool people singing ‘warne your football is sh*t’ then 5 minutes later singing his name, honestly think if people stop over reacting and seemingly wanting Warne to fail we could get out of this league this year. Rant over roll on the draining stick that’ll come…
