    Oh dear! 😢

Thanks for the update, I guess!

I've since seen that police have closed their investigation "due to lack of evidence".
I'm not a twixter, so I don't get afforded the opportunity to see the 377 replies in your link above... But the headline/OP doesn't look good, even if it is "only twitter".  (A very quick Google search just now brings nothing else up on these lying/fraud claims, but I'm sure they will appear as the day goes by (on news feeds).

So yeah... looks like I've been duped on this one (not for the first time!) but my point still stands.  One bad egg does not a Poppy seller hater make!

There's saddos in all walks of life I guess.

I'll still be out on my bike later this morning, and I still have my phone alarm set so I don't miss the 11am stop and reflect custom, wherever we may be at that time.
    #Can't win 'em all, eh?

    😢

I’m with you mate. I’ll be wearing my poppy badge today, tomorrow I’ll be at the Utch war memorial to pay respects to family members whose names are on there.
I know local folk who sell poppies, my mum in law used to go door to door round our estate for years with them so I have nothing but respect for all who do their bit for armistice day and Remembrance Sunday.

I don't actually think they should be able to slow the video right down, because you are then making it something the ref could never possibly see.

    Brilliant point.

I'm guilty of moaning about referees, i played football for 25 years in local leagues and you get to know a good ref who may make the odd poor decision from the weak ref who is scared of making a decision but at the end of the day, they see it in real time not slow motion so VAR should judge it in real time.

Use tech to decide if a ball has crossed the line and offsides maybe but otherwise bin it. Its not improved the standard of refereeing one iota.

  3. Once again, everyone is divided by the people who rule the world.

The middle east is and always has been, contested for its oil, gas and latterly, minerals for phones etc.

The USA and the western powers want control of the area, there's huge untapped reserves of natural gas that they want to take without sharing it with the palestinians. Its nowt to do with religion, anti-semitism, islamaphobia or anything other than pure greed and profit.

Google "Ben Gurion canal", and "Levantine gas basin".

The world is well and truly fecked, run by the immoral controllers of the banking system.

Google "Genie" energy, see who owns it and why they want control of the Golan heights and Syria.

Its all about money, always is and always will be.

    It's a tick box exercise.

I'm not saying she isn't good enough and won't go on to have a great career,  but rushing people through before they are ready results in people like Atwell.

Watched a bit of the Newcastle - Arsenal match, Pished mesen laughing when i heard that Bobby Madley was on VAR while Atwell was performing on the pitch.

What a pair of complete and utter merchant bankers. Both should have been relegated to the Uttoxeter and District League years ago. Even then they'd be useless.

  5. The 11 point season was worth it just for the street party around Euston station and the late train journey back to Derby after the play off final win......we emptied all the local off licencies for a half a mile radius and danced and sang along Euston road for hours. Bottles of champagne (well, mostly cheap fizz tbh) popping everywhere, we even got the old bill joining in the songs at one point.

He’s fine for when we’re dominating and passing the ball around. But he’s a passenger when we’re out of possession and in a physical battle.

His legs have gone this season in terms of sprinting. He still puts a shift in but in a foot race he doesn’t win many.

I agree. I don't dislike him but i think we need a Seth lad type in the midfield, especially away from home. A Mickey Lewis or Geraint Williams would do.

So no improvement apart from scoring 25% more goals. Also, your post contains no videos of 1980's bands that no one has heard of and not a flag in sight!

    Poor effort Inverurie.....

Why do we let them get away with it. It’s not like this is a weird, illuminati conspiracy theory at this point. It’s just a known fact. Rich people get richer through war.

Its f****** sick that the powerful play games with the lives of ordinary people just trying to live their lives. For what? Ultimately it’s just for money.

If Putin was genuinely doing it for the good of his people, then maybe that’s what being a good leader is, or netinyahu, or trump, or whoever the head of hamas is, or any of those dick heads. But they’re not. None of them gives a s*** about what happens to ordinary people.

little men playing at being gods. But they’re just little men that everyone hates and the world would be considerably better off without them.

I have a bee in my bonnet. I should probably lie down.

Unfortunately, until more of us realise what the root causes of war are they will keep getting away with it.

The Israeli Invasion and Gaza’s Offshore Gas Fields

    by Michel Chossudovsky

    January 8, 2009

The December 2008 military invasion of the Gaza Strip by Israeli Forces bears a direct relation to the control and ownership of strategic offshore gas reserves.

This is a war of conquest. Discovered in 2000, there are extensive gas reserves off the Gaza coastline.

British Gas (BG Group) and its partner, the Athens based Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC) owned by Lebanon’s Sabbagh and Koury families, were granted oil and gas exploration rights in awith the 25 year agreement signed in November 1999 Palestinian Authority.

The rights to the offshore gas field are respectively British Gas (60 percent); Consolidated Contractors (CCC) (30 percent); and the Investment Fund of the Palestinian Authority (10 percent). (Haaretz, October 21,  2007).

The PA-BG-CCC agreement includes field development and the construction of a gas pipeline.(Middle East Economic Digest, Jan 5, 2001).

The BG licence covers the entire Gazan offshore marine area, which is contiguous to several Israeli offshore gas facilities. (See Map below). It should be noted that 60 percent of the gas reserves along the Gaza-Israel coastline belong to Palestine.

Probably just coincidence that the 25 year old agreement is nearly up.

I'm sure I'd be happy if I had shares in weapons manufacturer. Definition of wins.

Manufacturers of weapons of mass destruction shares shot up on October 7th. The mass slaughter of civilians is win-win for the billionaires.

I'm hiding in here from 2 kids.

Very long story short, we are the great aunt and uncle of 2 young boys, Noah (3), Logan (2).

We was approached about becoming guardians for them as their parents are separated and neither in a situation to offer them a stable home.

Was no way we could see them go into care so here they are. Currently with us under a section 20 agreement although we expect it to go through to a SGO order in time where they will stay with us until they are 18.

Last few weeks been a whirlwind, through work and these I've missed the last two games, so I'm in here hiding from those pair that are giving me full calorie burning sessions. 😂

Bloody hell mate, what a life changing situation for you both. Its a huge commitment but absolute respect to you for taking it on.

Good luck and hope it all works out for everyone.

    Netenyahu says revenge starts tonight.

Terrorist scum. War criminal and zionist invader.

With support from Genocide Joe and of course Britain like a good little doggy follow obediently with whatever America orders.

The "Hamas Israel War" where thousands of innocent Palestinians are killed by association for not leaving a prison.

Revenge for 40 beheaded babies (no proof), mass rape (no proof), burning people alive (no proof). The 5,000 dead was not enough for Israel. That was just warming up.

"But the Holocaust!!" is the defence as they carry Apartheid.

"But anti-Semitism" is the cry when they go on a genocidal rampage.

From Atomic bombs to Gulf Of Tonkin incident to Agent Green and Napalm strikes to false WMD claims to proxy wars supporting terrorists to providing arms to IS to funding a $3.8b war via a colony on the Middle East.

Next time you hear some war monger stood Infront of stars and Stripes in a country with such inequality, such high murder rates, where you can't be sure your children won't be gunned down by an assault rifle.... next time you do hear "democracy and freedom. God Bless America" try to hold in the vomit.

Manifest Destiny isn't over. Empire building isn't dead

Oil and gas Alpha, you forgot oil and gas. That's the only thing driving this slaughter now. That's what the Empire was all about, natural resources, robbing and pillaging other countries, we're still doing it but try and pretend its for other reasons.

I pulled the comments from an Insta footy account showing the clip of Hourihane being abused by our fans, in no particular order:-

    Embarrassing from the fans

Why do Derby demand so highly of their players when they've clearly found their level in League 1

Too many fans think you win football matches because of the size of your club and fanbase. Shrewsbury are a good league 1 side expecting to just turn up and roll them over is disrespectful to the Shrews players

Having a go at the wrong person to be honest he didn't play amazingly well but neither did anyone else. If anyone should reassure the fans it should be Warne.

I suppose they've never had a bad day at the office either disgusting behaviour!

Feel sorry for Hourihane he shouldn't be answering for this should be Warne answering why we can't break down average teams.

Most self entitled fans on the face of the earth.

    Derby fans so embarrassing

These fans live on past glories and think they have a god given right to success

I'm sure that an Insta footy account is full of level headed sensible fans who would never dream of criticising 30,000 Derby fans because two of them shouted at a player.

Then again, maybe i'm wrong and some of them are really stupid 15 year olds.
