What does this tell us
Players out of contract next summer: Liam Thompson, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Tom Barkhuizen, Conor Hourihane, Korey Smith, Martyn Waghorn, Louie Sibley, James Collins, Eiran Cashin, Max Bird, Craig Forsyth, Scott Loach
That lots of players contracts expire next summer

Absolutely horrendous for the poor lad. No one wants to miss an entire season of football, particularly not when it’s only your second at senior level.
Think we need to sign someone to cover for this injury. We’re extremely light at CB now, with only Cashin, Nelson and Bradley natural players in the position. Have to look at the free agent market and see if there’s someone who’d be willing to join us for the season.
-
I’m sure we got an apology for the crap decision. But yet again it doesn’t help us with the dropped points that resulted from it….
The incompetence of officiating at this level is genuinely scary. If some of these guys can become qualified refs then I’m pretty sure most of us on this forum could do!

Cobblers. He was treated appallingly by the club.
Bringing up very old ground so won’t say much more. I agree the club made a right hash of the situation, but that didn’t make his actions that night any better.

You're attributing someone else's comment to me. I just find the sly digs a bit annoying.
You were defending his comment. You can have whatever opinion you want of me, I don’t take offence.

Not much nuance or interest in your ''discussion'' which equates to you calling Bradley a bad player. Seemed like you only posted to get the dig in on Bradley, frankly.
On the evidence so far, he is. Still not a “disgusting, disgraceful, vile” character assassination that means I’m not worthy to support this football club is it? The only person whose character has been assassinated on this thread is me, ironically. I’m used to it now on this place mind so it doesn’t affect me.
And no, I didn’t just post to get the dig in on Bradley. I’m genuinely concerned about the impact Rooney’s injury will have on the team. He’s been a breath of fresh air bringing some legs and footballing ability to the back line. Replace that with Bradley and we’re in real trouble.

No. But I don't really feel the need to go on the thread about Jake Rooney to slag him off either.
This thread is about Jake Rooney’s injury, think it makes sense to discuss who will replace him in the team and what impact that might have, no?

What’s Keogh done wrong 🤔 Excellent servant to the club 😊

Because it's typical of the way you post, you can't resist getting a nasty dig in on the people you choose to hate on. It's pretty jarring so I understand the reaction to it.
Do you want Sonny Bradley in the team then, based on how he’s played so far? Literally all I said was it’s not good news for us if he’s having to play. It’s hardly a nasty dig. Just the reality of the situation, and why this injury is going to cause us a problem.

No it isn’t . That was a character assassination of a player - a Derby player - who has had a difficult start to his time here. It was toxic, nasty and unworthy. So no it wasn’t an over reaction. Just consider what you have said about another human being. (And by all accounts an honest footballer) What would you feel if someone said that about you, in that way under those circumstances. And you call yourself a supporter. Disgusting. Not retracting a single word. Disgrace, below the belt, not on, foul play. Go and look at yourself in a mirror, it’s ugliness personified.
Bloody hell mate, think you need a chill pill. I said absolutely nothing about Sonny Bradley’s character. All I said is it’s bad news for us if he ends up on the pitch - every time he’s stepped foot on it so far he’s cost us. That’s fact. Hopefully he improves but I’d much rather still have Jake Rooney in there instead!
Im sure Bradley is a throughly decent guy, never suggested otherwise. I’d reserve that level of comment for the likes of Mason Bennett and Richard Keogh. But he’s been s*** at his job. Simple as. If I’d been s*** at my job and someone called it out then I wouldn’t see it as disgusting, I’d try and put it right. Which I’m sure he will do. But it’s best for this team if he isn’t on the pitch until he sorts his head out, simple as that.

I really don’t like being abusive but if I ever was, you’d deserve it in spades. Horrible comment, worthy of nothing. Please, go away and support Forest.
Seems a bit of an overreaction to saying that an injury to a good player is going to affect us because it means a s*** one will play instead? Think that’s pretty obvious to anyone?

Could you provide an exhaustive list of teams you would find it acceptable to lose at home to
No-one in this league. Maybe Bolton at a push. But the rest? We have a big budget than them, we shouldn’t be being embarrassed at home.

I don't think anyone thought losing to Oxford was acceptable, but stop with the 'teams like' comment.
No thanks. We’re Derby County, we shouldn’t be losing to team like Oxford.
You can call it entitlement, I prefer to call it facts.
-
No, if anything they’re too low from some fans. When did losing at home to teams like Oxford become acceptable?
We have the best team in this league, and we should be getting promoted. So far this season has not been up to standard.

And yet PW said in his Radio Derby interview.
"The honest truth is someone wanted to buy him, it looked like it was happening. He didn't travel with the team and in the end when it failed he travelled over and I just didn't feel like he was right."
Your "someone" with connections right at the top.
Has either duff info or DCFC were stringing EC along on Friday, When they could have pulled the plug on Thursday.
Someone is not being "honest"
It definitely wasn’t duff info. I imagine Brighton kept bidding but without the loan back, no deal was going to happen. It’s plausible this wasn’t said to Cashin himself, of course.
I still expect him to leave in January FWIW. Had Brighton included the loan back he would definitely have been sold this window.

I must have at some point. Te Wierik was no better than Bradley though.
I dunno. Bradley has thus far dropped an absolute clanger in every game he’s played more than 45 mins in

Yeah but come on, he had his 12 games in charge and it was clear he simply didn't understand League One football.
A manager who couldn't get Derby to beat any of Lincoln, Shrewsbury and Fleetwood clearly wasn't the man to take us forward.
🙃
Having Derby County in 7th place in League One is clearly something no manager should survive.
Oh… hang on a minute

When you’re such a bad manager than even Phil Brown looks intelligent, then it’s probably time to call it a day and go back to teaching PE

Keogh was great at pretty much everything 99% of the time, and terrible at it the other 1%, which makes him a very difficult player to evaluate.
Bradley is completely different though - he probably is a good defender (even if we haven’t really seen it much yet), but he’s always going to be slow and ropey on the ball.
Yeah he’s terrible 99% of the time
