Nice reversal of the accusation, often aimed at people who only pop up during a defeat and seemingly gloat in the misery, that they want us to lose.

"I care more because I react like I spoilt baby"

Because I only turn up during defeat? Not been on here all afternoon? Not at all happy that we’ve won?

I’m negative when we lose, positive when we win. It’s hardly rocket science. Some people seem incapable of seeing criticism when it’s warranted.

I'm not actually watching the game.

Have we done something tactically (doesn't have to be a sub) to stop Burton carrying the threat they had in the first half, or have they just not really turned up after half time yet? Are we keeping the ball better?

It’s still a basketball match. We have no interest in controlling the game. But our attacking play has been better so we’ve created more chances. Still a massive chance of a sucker punch given how open we are

Aside from the bad miss, are you in the mood for giving Bird any credit for the rest of his attacking play so far this half?

Yes? I already said earlier he played a fantastic ball, excellent run first half too. He’s about the only footballer we have left.

FWIW, we’ve been much better this second half. Creating chances and looking the better side. Collins in particular has been excellent.

I think people miss chances all the time. If we had the best strike force money could buy, they would miss chances. Also, if it was Bird then it wouldn't matter if we had the best strike force money could buy because that particular chance is unlikely to have fallen to them.

They do, but that really is a particularly bad one. You won’t see worse all season and Bird will know that.

He’s currently playing the most advanced of our midfielders. If we had replaced Knight then Bird would be further back and someone who can score goals would’ve been there. It’s not just the strikeforce, it’s our attacking options as a whole.

Warne said he hopes to get a striker & midfielder in next week as well as Sibley & Barkhuizen back training.

He mentioned losing Didzys goals & Knights energy in midfield & they need replacing.

He said he hoped to get someone in this week and that didn’t happen, so I wouldn’t hold your breath.
