That was his best performance in a Derby shirt imo. Never doubted his ability to finish chances when he got them, but his all round play was awful last season. Much more like a number 9 today.

I’m negative when we lose, positive when we win. It’s hardly rocket science. Some people seem incapable of seeing criticism when it’s warranted.

Dreadful by Burton twice. The initial mistake and then not clearing it as we seemed to try our best to throw the chance away somehow. Good for Washington to get off the mark though.

It’s still a basketball match. We have no interest in controlling the game. But our attacking play has been better so we’ve created more chances. Still a massive chance of a sucker punch given how open we are 

Great play by NML (out wide where he should be) - looked a possible elbow but hard to see from the replays

Yes? I already said earlier he played a fantastic ball, excellent run first half too. He’s about the only footballer we have left.

FWIW, we’ve been much better this second half. Creating chances and looking the better side. Collins in particular has been excellent.

They do, but that really is a particularly bad one. You won’t see worse all season and Bird will know that.

He’s currently playing the most advanced of our midfielders. If we had replaced Knight then Bird would be further back and someone who can score goals would’ve been there. It’s not just the strikeforce, it’s our attacking options as a whole.

Mason Bennett, what a scummy man. No doubt he’s going to score.
