Whoever we play it’s bound to be on TV at probably lunchtime ?

£55! There’ll be plenty of shirts in the sale next year.

We need to see what the official lines out of the club are before making too much of a judgment.
I’d be surprised if Rosenier was in agreement with this decision seeing as he talked about his process of playing and he wouldn’t make snap judgments after a defeat or two.
Maybe the director’s don’t care about that bloody expected goals statistic ?
Fair play to Warne if he comes, leaving the top half of the championship for a League One club with a business plan budget.

But Sibley isn't an 'outlet' he is a midfielder. Should have been playing where Hourihane moved to, and left Barkhuizen on instead of Hourihane.
Listen to the Plymouth manager, he knew if he could stop Bird and Hourihane playing that they'd win. He did just that. Sibley in midfield would have posed a different problem as he would have run at their defence. We saw what happened when Mendez did that in the first half. But no, we stick him on the wing doing what Barkhuizen was doing perfectly adequately until Bird and Hourihane stopped giving him the ball.
I’ve been really impressed with Rosenier so far but understandably he will make mistakes as a novice manager.
The number one priority for me is getting Knight into midfield even though any new signings for RB haven’t come through.

I hope that Hourihane, Didzy and Collins don’t become undroppable.
I agree with other posters that Hourihane and Bird aren’t the best CM duo, we need Smith or Knight in there to add some bite.
If Rosenier is a man of his word then there will be some changes for the next game.

They’re obviously going for it, and we all know that if this high risk strategy goes Pete Tong then I’m sure Olympiakos will help them out with their finances.

We seem to be recruiting a lot of Republic of Ireland players. We already have Knight and Cashin (formerly had Watson and Festy). Reportedly signed Hourihane and McGoldrick and linked with James Collins.
Anyone fancy another Irish international out of work called Cyrus Christie?
I can’t see Knight staying, he’s being linked with Burnley and the funds will help us rebuild the squad.

Hopefully if Knight moves then we will receive a half decent fee for him which can be reinvested, at our level we should be able to make the money go far.

Let’s get this thread back to being about football, I’ll start…

I’ve just read David’s open letter, what a brilliant communication from a lifelong Rams fan.
Don’t let Mel cloud your view of a fellow Ram owning our club, this feels good.
We are so United after last season, this season is going to be such a positive time after what we’ve been through and I can’t wait to get into Pride Park!

This takeover is the equivalent of your children sat in the back of the car saying ‘are we there yet?’ repeatedly during an 8 hour road trip.

Some sources online are reporting that one signature was being waited on before closing the deal.
it won’t get announced straight away, there will no doubt be some kind of unveiling being filmed.

I hope that the home shirt has more black on it this year.
away kit: I love black shirts but it’s about time that we had a remake of the yellow and blue Auto Windscreens shirt from the 90’s.

Is Paul Warne the next Nigel Pearson?

If Warne persists with Barkhuisen at LWB and our best attacking threat NML at RWB, then I will start to have concerns about his style of play.
That was a dreadful attacking performance and he should have changed to a back four once it became clear that we weren’t creating anything.
I feel sorry for those fans that made the trip, they should at least see us have a go.
Knight was a big loss and he needs to be looked after this season, certainly not playing in the tin pot trophies.
