Great news!
hopefully this progress carries on at the same pace and it’s all completed on schedule. I’m also hoping that Curtis will stay and is given the armband.
Time to get those players in!

Let’s see who throws their hat into the ring for the job, it’s obviously a massive rebuilding job and I’d like to see who shows that desire to take on the challenge.
An out of work manager helps our finances but I’m not sure if Dyche is the right choice… plus his voice would drive me mad ? It’s a shame that Warnock isn’t younger, I’ve always wondered what he would’ve achieved with us.

What the actual ****!
Hes done a Frank and left us in the lurch, is it because CK hasn’t taken over? Thanks for what he did but this leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
Im assuming at this late stage that Rosenier will take the helm.
Never a dull moment is there!

I can understand Bielik pushing for a move because of what the Polish Coach said, you can’t pass up the opportunity to play in a World Cup.
If Buchanan and Byrne want to leave, let them go and try to receive some money for them. We need 100% commitment from whoever takes to the pitch next season as it is going to be another struggle.

We must surely receive an update later in the day on Monday with time running out and that open letter being put out into the public domain.

hopefully, but EFL may want proof for the entire season. They won't want the risk of fixture cancellations etc.
Yes, to stay in administration for next season the club will have to prove that they have funding for the entire season. That’s why the EFL have mentioned our membership again.

It will be easier for Q as they are now dealing with 'real' businessmen. Although MA has dealt with more administrators than Q have had hot dinners, so that might not be easy on them! ?
Have you seen their expenses, it would have to be a hell of a lot of administrators! ?

Ed Dawes latest comments sound as positive as they could be, interested parties have come forward now that CK has been removed and we will surely get a better long term option now.
Talk of the takeover potentially being concluded within a couple of weeks now.

I am sick to death of seeing alan nixons tweets in this thread. hes become the most frequent poster
The guy is clueless and has been continuiously wrong throughout this process, hes spent the last day backtracking and changing his story to suit the facts yet people still claim he is reliable
why are people even giving him the attention he so desperately craves and makes people pay for now by the way.
sick of him, sick of the admins, sick of mel morris, sick of everyone involved in this shambles.
That’s why so many of us are blocked by him, for calling him out without any abuse or anger. Plus, he works for The S*n.

Do we know if the non playing staff at Newcastle United were treated the same as the Sports Direct workforce?
Good point.

No, he absolutely should not have.
The man is a well-known business vulture - he waits in the shadows until the business is on its knees before swooping in and putting a tenner on the table.
He will let us get to the point of having absolutely nothing to our name - no Rooney, no player re-signings - before offering a derisory amount that will see us start with -15. All for the sake of getting something a little bit cheaper than market value.
I promise you, he should only ever be a last, last, absolutely final choice.
As fans, would we be comfortable with the non playing employees at Derby being treated like the Sports Direct workforce?
Newcastle fans are United in their loathing for him. -
CK Playing Golf? Is that at Morley Hayes before an announcement later today? ?

Let’s gloss over that information.
-
Didn’t CK mention 3 bank holidays including Memorial Day in the US?
If so then the money should be moved to where it needs to be today, then hopefully an announcement tonight.

Yes it's a vanity project not a return on investment business move.
The punitive EFL business plan is agreed and in place so we'll be austerity football for three years regardless.
In terms of future plans, who knows, but I do not see bank rolling to upper echelons of the game being on the cards. Being sensibly run (e.g. CK covers loses of a few million a year in the championship).
Once we’re on a sound footing financially under CK didn’t he suggest that he will welcome investors into the club in due course?
Yes we won’t see the Mel type spending but quite rightly a more responsible transfer policy as the football club is obviously a business.

The takeover will be confirmed late on Monday evening and new players will be announced throughout the week ?
CK is keeping us updated in good faith, it’s Quantuma who have repeatedly set and then missed deadlines with a little help from the EFL.
The time is going to drag but at least that gives us time to add more pages to this thread… along with numerous puns ?

For Cod’s sake, enough of these puns!

About bloody time!
Official unveiling with 20 new players will do nicely ?
