Just because he was here from a young age doesn't mean he owes us anything.
When a club like Liverpool presents a young lad with an opportunity then I have absolutely no problem with them taking it. A career ending or limiting injury is only ever a bad tackle away.
If I am presented with an opportunity to advance my career do I turn it down out of some loyalty to my current employer? No, if it works for me I take it. I'll never criticise a player for doing the same thing I would do in their position.

Perhaps if we weren't in such a financial pickle then we might not have put him in the shop window and pushed a little harder to keep him with us for a couple more years. Seems to be that the timings were all wrong. I'm sure if Bellingham was at the same point in his career as Kaide when all the Brexit/Covid stuff happened then they might have had to offload him for a lot less money.
The reality is, he made his way into the first team picture for a whole season (not just 5 minutes in a match that was already won) and proved he was ready for 1st team football, Kaide needs more time to develop and we couldn't afford that. I'm also pretty sure Birmingham have closed their academy now as they can't afford to run it. At least we can still bring through new youngsters and there will hopefully be more stars developed in time.

Looking at the previous 5 seasons the highest points total needed to stay up was 51, we’ve got 17 games to go 51 points to play for and only 17 needed, 5 wins a couple of draws and could afford to lose a whopping 10 games, surely we can’t fudge that up?

Terrible position to be in.  Get it wrong and the points penalty could put them 2 leagues down.

Win 2 of the next 3 and then I think we’re out of it in every sense other than mathematically. It would take one hell of a bad run to be relegated from there and I maintain the fact there are at least 3 worse teams than us in the league. If we stutter between now and the next international break, April could be interesting. But I would still be confident, we’ve got our home form back and we have Brum and Wendies at home in last 3 games of the season.
It’s in our hands and we’re more than capable. I see nothing since Rooney took over to suggest we would return to how we were in the first 13 games, and I think we have a stronger squad now, even stronger when we get Lawrence back to provide competition to Jozwiak Waggy and Roberts (who looked class last night btw)

The squads both we and Forest have should be nowhere near the relegation scrap.
We are both where we are because of poor management at board and squad level.
Wycomb are gone. Coventry are in free fall, Birmingham are just awful. I think that will end up being the bottom three.

You'll never walk alone say Liverpool fans, unless of course you make a couple of errors in goal and then they will harass you out of the club and mentally destroy your professional confidence. Alison is probably on thin ice.

Isn't he actually putting more trust in his bowlers by giving them fewer overs?
There is also recent history of India chasing down a big target at this ground, not to mention that the pitch has been as flat as a witch's tit for most of the match

57 points to play for, It's like chucking a Mills bomb in an Air raid Shelter with the pin still in, And people die in the crush and panic to get out.
Start fretting come mid April if we're where we are now.

No. This is the standardised compensation value set out in the EPPP compensation guidelines.
There is figure per year from the 9-11 fixed at 3k per year. There is then a fee per year based on academy status from 12 to 16 which varies from 12.5k to 40 depending academy status.
A worked example would be that Player x joins Derby at age 8 and is now being picked up by any other academy at 15.
    3 k for years 9-11 = 9k
3 years for 12 to 15 @ 40k as Derby is the elite academy.
That's your fee and I presume your 129k but that assumes these players have been with us since early. If it's someone we picked up at 14...we are entitled to 40k.
The per games compensation is fixed thereafter UNLESS another agreement is made between the two clubs which guarantees an income now.
So risk vs reward if those 3 15 year old go on to make 100 appearances for United it costs them 7.75m each player spread over the years the appearances take.
Or they could give Derby 2m now ans Derby forego any entitlement to future earnings from the players.

There seems to be a increasing ever growing unacceptable trend of posting racist tweets - over the past week Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Reece James and Romaine Sawyers all being the target of abuse.
Glad to see that one culprit has already been arrested - saddens me that people actually believe that this level of abuse is acceptable and also that the social media platforms don't seem to be doing enough pro actively to stop this vile filth being posted in the first place.
