Derby blood got a reaction from Half fan in Time to walk away Wayne
Good to be back posting again
My thoughts of Wayne is nothing but praise, bringing in good experience pros, to mix it up the the youth, was so important, having no money, but for me with want he has at his disposal he is doing a great job, also love the way we are trying to play, so many positives, around the squad and coaching staff.
Just need a takeover now, and to come out of the embargo, to give Wayne the help he and the coaches and playing staff deserve.

Back in the 70s, being in the 'away' end (if there even was one), or being a fan who just wanted to follow his/her team, was no guarantee of avoiding trouble. The home team's mob weren't always picky about which opposing supporter they clumped or threw a brick/bottle/dart at. You had to keep your wits about you and planning was a big part of avoiding a kicking. You also had to be able to trust who you went with : no big mouths attracting the wrong kind of attention, but also mates you knew wouldn't leave you stranded if things got a bit threatening.

Not everyone was in the DLF or intentionally looking for trouble! I mentioned Bradford simply because it was a very scary experience being on the receiving end of chunks of concrete raining down with no cover, not glorifying in throwing them back. Football in the 70s and 80s was in a very different place and situations like this on away days were almost unavoidable. If you wanted to follow your team home and away every week you knew what to expect, knew the risks and took your chance. The only safe option was to stay at home and for many of us this was simply not an option, the adrenaline rush was part of the day

Those of you having a dig at RamsTrust are playing into Morris’ hands. He doesn’t want to answer difficult questions so if he suspects the fan base are divided he’ll keep fobbing us off indefinitely and leave us bickering amongst ourselves. I’m not a member of the trust but I’m glad they are giving this a go - the radio silence from the club is an insult to us fans and needs to be tackled head on.

I don’t agree with the lack of transparency coming out of the club.
But let’s be honest, trust between the fans and the club is broken.
Would we even believe what the club has to say?
I know that if Stephen Pearce told me Ankara was the capital of Turkey, I would have to ask 100 Geography teachers just to be sure.

100% correct. He may have put a lot of his own money in already, and to a degree I commend that. But he can't just pull funding like that and watch us flounder. It's not like he's hard up.
How did he think this was going to play out if things didn't go to plan? Surely a businessman like him understands that ownership of the club was going to come with potentially high liabilities?

    On Mel Morris:
When he sold Candy Crush in 2015, he became immensely cash rich as per the above. Whilst I do believe he has lost an uncomfortable amount of personal fortune in owning Derby County, in which time he has looked to spend above the means of the competition rules of his own volition. It would still make him an immensely rich person, who has absolutely no excuse for running the club as badly as he currently is.
What I would say to him, given half the chance, is clean up your own mess. The cutting of corners is doing nothing but to agitate fans and to downtools as significantly as he has, i.e. not pay the HMRC or other clubs, not to mention the fiasco with the ticket office, is absolutely inexcusable.
If he can get the club stable again, which isn't going to cost the world, and away from the 'crisis club' narrative then it will become a lot more attractive to potential buyers - real potential buyers and not blokes who know how to steal videos from TikTok or look fancy in a big white robe.

Need to score a couple of goals. Defence I think will keep it down to 1 or 2.
Going for 1-2 to us COYR.

Seem to have been doing ok results wise in Brum recently. On this basis I hold out some hope for a result.
Dont think Jags and Davis will be at all worried about playing against their big forwards (they would likely be more concerned if they had some whippets).
Match them or better in the midfield and we can get something for sure. ?

Stood behind him on the way out that day (KO) that is and can clearly remember him goading on the whole East End as we came down the steps. Our escapade came to an abrupt end when my best mate took one in the shoulder with a broken bottle and had to rush him to the St John's to be sorted out.
    Happy Days.

Its a shame he is banned for 3 games, been very good at left back. and will be missed, but a great chance for Buchanan to now have 3 games on the run, and show us all, what we all know he is capable off.

I agree B4, when we are watching our super Rams, like we have done so far, to get behind the team 100 percent, since we have been back playing in front of crowds the atmosphere has been excellent long may that continue
I have my own opinions on Mel, but when i go to the games i go to support DCFC, and never chant any negative stuff.
