Well… what was that…

Never seen a Derby side look so devoid of organisation or a game plan. No patterns of play, no movement, no shape. Swear the 11 point season team had a better idea of how they wanted to play. 

And when we were building some momentum, he made two bizarre substitutions which confused the players, and killed that momentum. 

I know it’s league one, I know he needs time, but it’s looking very worrying. If the formation doesn’t change, I’d be surprised if the results do. 

Oxford quite impressed, but we made it so easy for them.

I was surprised he missed that first one on one, his finishing is actually usually pretty good.

This - since George burley bar the odd signing from abroad we have barely ever tapped into other markets. I get the expenses involved with having a wider recruitment strategy but surely at some point we need to get better at recruiting from aboard once again. The club has done it successfully in the past. (Thinking burley and smith eras). 

He’s been sacked after failing to come out and explain why Jordan Rhodes parents didn’t wait 4 years to conceive him to ensure he fit within warnes originally stated transfer age brackets.

I was thinking this earlier, I’m sure they are aware someone’s leaking info and probably want to put a stop to it. However if his source actually saw Rhodes then maybe the deal has broken down or it will be announced tomorrow.

Think it’s just down to availability ultimately. Washington, barks and ward not in Spain - sibley, elder and smith unavailable. 
 

Then we are probably still 2 or 3 short in attacking signings. Pre game they said they expect a signing to come in this week, hopefully it’s godden. 

Good luck to him, think it was the right time and player to get some money in for the club. Hopefully we are only now 3 or 4 away from having the squad we need to make a real promotion push.

They have signed a few cbs from championship and league one last few years for the future. I’d probably take 4m and a season long loan and if we go up try, and get him on another loan. But I would be surprised if any of that happened.

Loving it - all my favourite Derby shirts have red on them somewhere tbh - usually the sponsor.

Crazy - when we played Barnsley in both games at home this season, I thought they were poor - never saw today coming. Maybe our make shift back 4 is starting to show signs of the fact that well it’s make shift. 
 

I think it’s clear since max bird has been injured our form has dipped and we control games far less. Sometimes you just don’t realise how important a player is to a team until they aren’t there.
