DRBee got a reaction from MickD in Torquay v Derby (A) Matchday Thread
Cue ridiculous over the top comments from posters who really don't seem to have a clue. FA upsets happen and the psychology that underlies them makes it no surprise. Fan-favourite Cashin is the one who might deserve some criticism since it was his conceding a penalty that changed things but Hourihane is a much easier target for the mob.

DRBee reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in Derby County v Exeter City Tuesday 25 October
I have been watching Louise Sibley play for 4 years or so now. At no point whatsoever did I think, “you know what, he’d make a really good left back”. Completely baffling decision. He could have made a like for like swap with Stearman but instead moved 4 players around. On reflection however I have decided that the fault for our current predicament lies squarely at the door of Byrne and Buchanan. Tossers.

DRBee got a reaction from RoyMac5 in Is Paul Warne the next Nigel Pearson?
The only thing missing from this post is for you to say is that you want Warne replacing now. What we get is unjust criticism of many players and Warne himself. Has Barkhuizen really been terrible in all his matches as LWB? You state that Clowes will need patience, do you and other fans have patience?

It would be truly stupid to have dropped Hourihane just because of the handball. Don't know how many of the games you have watched in full but Sibley has been inconsistent like Hourihane has.

In our current team Knight is quite good at dropping to the floor and getting a free kick.

DRBee reacted to TheresOnlyWanChope in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Liam has only been interim manager. I think if LR had been given the job full time and he was being relieved today for another manager then the whole situation looks a bit more desperate as he has not been given time but the plan may have always been for someone else to come in. A big question is do the away performances and form look like they will change anytime soon? If the answer is no (which I assume it is as we look dire), then I think a new manager is the way to go who will bring about something different on the road.

It's great to have a football team to support, without the stress of the events of the previous
12 months which made me switch off except for the matches themselves.
Considering what has happened to other relegated weighty clubs, we have nothing to complain about.
The away form though is a real concern and Rosenior can't disconnect himself from responsibility as
he was part of the previous management. Away performances have been Cocuesque.
Yesterday's result + performance against Wycombe may prove a turning point. Many managers
lose their jobs from excess of caution and Rosenior may still be one of them.

No Carl. In other games, Conor has been anchored deeper because as we have seen before on several occasions, a midfield 2 of him and Max tend to get overrun and out-muscled at points in the game. When we switched systems yesterday, we had more bodies in the middle sector and Conor started taking up positions from which he could do damage. The rest, as they say, is history.
In any case, I'm glad you're 'ecstatic' about the win and that the Rosey sledging is on hold, albeit briefly, I suspect.

" I will be listening to people in all parts of the club" Don't get the impression that Mel Morris did enough of this and it is clear that his team from Clowes Developments are playing a big part.
Just as important was his intention to act with integrity and admitting that they won't have all the answers. His tribute to Lionel Pickering was welcome.
We are very fortunate to have him as our owner and after all the garbage of the last twelve months it is hard to believe it has turned out like this. In the interview he seems such a genuine, likeable bloke.

DRBee got a reaction from Wolfie in Liam Rosenior
Its nauseating to see all the criticism after 4 games, with a squad that has had so many forced changes.
The squad and the manager are doubtless able to improve but the unwelcome truth may be that we don't have strikers who are good enough- and that is most likely due to financial constraints.

If you have watched the games this season I don't think the evidence is in your favour. Sibley's play as sub has offered much in the few games we have seen and Dobbin's contribution , whilst promising , shows he is still adjusting.

Perfunctory is a harsh word to use. His performance today was better than that on effort alone. Seems like you are having to work hard to defend an opinion not actually relating to today's performance.

Pathetic comment. You must have been listening to a different commentary to me then ... but you were criticising the player for yourself and perhaps looking for non-existent agreement from the Radio Derby commentary team.

I am very happy to blame Mel Morris for much of his errors in managing the club. However the accounting methods used are not part of that blame as i think the first tribunal verdict was the right one. The subsequent EFL appeal was spite and the points deduction for it unfair. That points deduction , unlike the administration points deduction, was arbitrary and some of the motivation questionable. We could have appealed that, but by then our situation was too complicated. We have to accept the points deduction but that is not to say we deserved it. This is all water under the bridge and it is clear that David Clowes is working with the EFL to restore relationships
