Let's be honest. The reason we've been given another 4 weeks is to make sure we can't sign anybody and potentially have to lose more players. The EFL, plus the people making the spurious claims, are terrified to death that we might just gain enough points to avoid relegation this season, despite the 21 points deduction and umpteen transfer embargoes already.

Who is acting in the interest of DCFC in these meetings?
We know that the admins are legally bound to act for creditors
We know the EFL act on behalf of all the other Clubs
The prospective buyers act to get the best deal for themselves
NO ONE ACTS FOR THE CLUB OR SUPPORTERS IN THESE BEHIND DOORS MEETINGS.

    And the EFL.
What happened to the 'compression' cross class Insolvency stuff that isn't in EFL regs because they aren't up to date? That is what stopped the PB being named a couple of weeks ago.
Why not concentrate on getting them to update their rules?

Will somebody please buy the EFL a dictionary, so they can understand the difference between a 'claimant' and a 'creditor'? The two fantasy figure cases produced by the vexatious claimants cannot possibly lead to them being treated as creditors. Once they are removed from the equation (whether they decide to pursue their ridiculous claims or not) surely the takeover can proceed?! Or is this a rose-tinted, simplistic view of the true position?

    I can’t believe it, really.
The team up against it all, the chaps that are fighting to keep a smile on the faces of everyone in and around the club, are the ones who I have felt closest to as a fan.
That might not make sense, but the lads that go out there and give it their best for 90 minutes in the first team, the 23’s, 18’s, to me, are the most likeable that we’ve had in a long long time.
Saw that post about Festy Ebosele earlier, dare I say it it made me feel rather emotional.
We have a bunch of players who are the most ambitious, determined, down to earth players that we’ve ever had at this club, and it kind of makes me sad that the season I have felt this way has ultimately been this season. I wish and I hope that we don’t lose any more of these fantastic chaps that we have at this football club.
I thank Rooney, Rosenior, Walker and co, for keeping fighting, for staying grounded, determined, and battling against the odds but honestly, this set of lads that we go out in our numbers and support, are the most genuine, honest and most likeable we’ve had at Derby County football club in such a long time.
I really really hope we can retain the vast majority of these past this season.
I think regardless of circumstance come May, come Cardiff @ home, we can look back and see that every single individual at this club, the players, the staff, the fans, have all shown us who they are deep down, and have shown commitment, ambition, determination. The three most important characteristics.
Be proud of yourselves, and keep fighting against all odds.

Boro fans will be focussed on their club consolidating their place in the Prem and planning for the Champions League I imagine.
Wycombe fans getting ready for back-to-back promotions.

It's what we owe Arsenal, for Charlie George possibly, it seems that long ago since the EFL let us join in any transfer window.

Like you, I was critical of Rooney last year, but crikey has he won me over.  This season he’s shown he’s got what it takes to be a top class manager.  Through all the adversity he’s built a team that, in my opinion, would do anything he asked and he’s got the fans on side.

MARTIN SAMUEL: Derby are on the brink of extinction and had 21 points deducted - isn’t that enough now? Middlesbrough and Wycombe lawsuits are based on playing fantasy football.

I'm sure somebody from Quantuma will read this.
I think the way they've handled what can only be described as 'a situation they'll probably never have to deal with again and made difficult in many ways' very well and they seem to be the only ones who come out of this with any credibility.
We as supporters are obviously wanting answers everyday but that's not possible. I also believe that the admins was taken down a garden path by the EFL who led them to believe we could name a preferred bidder until the goalpost was changed last minute.
The EFL would have been laughing at Wayne Rooney after hearing his press conference last Thursday knowing that after the Quantuma's meeting with the EFL, we wouldn't be announcing a preferred bidder.
It's clear as day that the EFL, Boro and Wycombe are trying to turn DCFC fans against Quantuma - Don't let that happen, Quantuma IMO have been very good in all of this and deserve some huge praise. We heard it from Owen Bradley that these guys are doing everything they can.
As a supporter base we've been excellent all season but even more so in the past 7 days - Let's keep sticking together and one day very soon, we'll get rewarded and the future will be black and white, without any doubt.

If it wasn't for the EFL going 'against statute' we'd have a preferred bidder.
For me thay can give Gibson and Couhig the run around as much as they like, it is quite obvious that neither of those two are reasonable people!

Suspect it may all boil over at Boro away. Large nos of fans without tickets + large numbers of police + provocation = trouble. Derby fans need to use their heads. Suspect police will remove fans from “private property” of the ground if they’ve no ticket. Needs to be organised, noisy, disruptive but peaceful.

Furthermore, having listened to it more closely, does nobody find it extremely interesting that this guy volunteered to go on Radio Derby?
Why is that? Who is his audience?
It's you. It's Derby fans. That's why he asked "how much do the administrators expect to make from the Derby case?". "Why do they keep missing the deadlines they promised you?"
He's paying close attention to Derby fans becoming disgruntled with the administrators and picked those very same talking points to bring up. He explains very little about why he has a case, and spends most of it laying into Quantuma.
Because he wants to squash our solidarity. I have concerns over Quantuma as well but don't take his word on it. He wants us to fight with them rather than with him
