Call me old-fashioned but I quite like a simple Derby followed by three staccato claps. Usually grows in volume as more and more people realise it’s a simple one they can join in on without feeling daft or self conscious.

Also effective in lifting the team as it’s easy to pick up on.

We don’t seem to sing it these days.

Yes, also the old DERBY....DERBY.....DERBY.... echoing around the ground. Simple and fabulous.😁

The pitch really is not of a good standard. Patchy grass and patches of mud. It’s really not acceptable in this day and age. I realise it’s been very wet. But considering how little it is used there should be intervention by management to bring in the type of groundsman who can guarantee the surface.

Hilarious. The pitch is looking ok for mid winter! The goalmouths are still grass, and just a bit of mud where the linesman runs! What a nonsense post.

  3. Cant we just delete this thread? Its stupid. We have a decent manager, just had a brilliant run of results, and we need to get behind him and the team to push on. The time to review the managers performance is towards the end of the season, or the end of the season.

I cant believe there were boos at the final whistle yesterday, at the end of a very close game which could have gone either way.

Do we really need such fans both at the ground and here in the forum?

Really? Just another oversight by the recruitment team then? Wouldn't it be a novel idea to sign players who can actually play games??

I'd be saying the same at Liverpool about signing Mo Saleh. Awful signing, with him being away with the Egyptian national team.

So about 20 pissed up blokes then...

    Tenuous.

As I said, you see what you want to see

So true. Anything it seems with a few diehards to keep the anti Warne narrative going. Wish he would give it a rest.

Well it’d be interesting to hear Warne’s comments on the issue of rotation and depth of squad. Also his team’s views on how the training regime should differ for OAPs vs spring chickens; and how it should differ for players who are out there every minute and those who are in the dugout week in week out. @Owen87ITKmay be a flawless ‘home team’ commentator but he lets Warne and the club muzzle him to the extent the manager interviews are mind blowingly dull. These are the sort of points of substance Warne could discuss without then having to shoot people. And - unlike the segments on coffee, bobble hats and Xmas presents (who cares?) - it would give some footballing insight into the behind the scenes

What utter tosh. Lets just keep the anti Warne thing going, and throw in a bit of anti Owen Bradley too eh?
