Derby 2 Cheltenham 0. FRGS NML

We are lucky to have avoided him buying the club, imagine if he did, and tit then came out the funds he used were obtained from fraud?

Well, thats a bad night for sure. Worst performance of the season. Lets hope we can bounce back on saturday. COYR!

Reading 1 Derby 2. FRGS NML.

£200 million in loans to MM would be the previous business. Nothing to do with the new company set up by David Clowes. To be fair to MM though, he did write off a huge amount of £ he "Loaned" to the club.

Lincoln 0 Derby 2. FRGS Nelson.

isnt he coming back from injury, so perhaps see him in the U23s?

Call me old-fashioned but I quite like a simple Derby followed by three staccato claps. Usually grows in volume as more and more people realise it’s a simple one they can join in on without feeling daft or self conscious.
Also effective in lifting the team as it’s easy to pick up on.
We don’t seem to sing it these days.
Yes, also the old DERBY....DERBY.....DERBY.... echoing around the ground. Simple and fabulous.😁

Given the time of year, recent weather, and no doubt a smaller budget, I think the pitch is in fair condition. A bit worn in hard wearing areas, but still mostly grass!

Why would it matter - in the Championship we are probably going to have less of the ball. Now if Rosenior was manager it'd be different but with Warne whilst we may not just hoof it we aren't playing tika taka.
Yawn. third place on goals scored and he still wants the manager out. What sort of supporter are you?

They are in the same division as us on merit. We have a bigger player budget though. There is nobody in this division that wont come and make it hard for us to beat them.

At least with Warne in charge the state of the pitch can't impact any of our slick passing play, because there isn't any.
🥱boring.

Paul Warne has found a way to hand victory to Fleetwood 👏 👏 👏
New GK and Bradley in defense.
He does know we are playing the bottom team right?
Hilarious. Why can’t these people just support the team and cease the sniping? 😛

The pitch really is not of a good standard. Patchy grass and patches of mud. It’s really not acceptable in this day and age. I realise it’s been very wet. But considering how little it is used there should be intervention by management to bring in the type of groundsman who can guarantee the surface.
Hilarious. The pitch is looking ok for mid winter! The goalmouths are still grass, and just a bit of mud where the linesman runs! What a nonsense post.

Cant we just delete this thread? Its stupid. We have a decent manager, just had a brilliant run of results, and we need to get behind him and the team to push on. The time to review the managers performance is towards the end of the season, or the end of the season.
I cant believe there were boos at the final whistle yesterday, at the end of a very close game which could have gone either way.
Do we really need such fans both at the ground and here in the forum?

Steve Bloomers watching would be fine, if the drum beat matched the tempo of the song. You end up with the cloud clapping to a different beat the the drums in song. Remix it with a different drum beat perhaps?
Agree, do away with the cringeworthy stupid poem from a leftie poet who thinks bike clips and cloth caps.

Really? Just another oversight by the recruitment team then? Wouldn't it be a novel idea to sign players who can actually play games??
I'd be saying the same at Liverpool about signing Mo Saleh. Awful signing, with him being away with the Egyptian national team.

Tenuous.

So true. Anything it seems with a few diehards to keep the anti Warne narrative going. Wish he would give it a rest.

Well it’d be interesting to hear Warne’s comments on the issue of rotation and depth of squad. Also his team’s views on how the training regime should differ for OAPs vs spring chickens; and how it should differ for players who are out there every minute and those who are in the dugout week in week out. @Owen87ITKmay be a flawless ‘home team’ commentator but he lets Warne and the club muzzle him to the extent the manager interviews are mind blowingly dull. These are the sort of points of substance Warne could discuss without then having to shoot people. And - unlike the segments on coffee, bobble hats and Xmas presents (who cares?) - it would give some footballing insight into the behind the scenes
What utter tosh. Lets just keep the anti Warne thing going, and throw in a bit of anti Owen Bradley too eh?

Cashin ( the only player that would be comfortable in the Championship
Plenty of other players in our squad who could be comfortable in the championship, Wildsmith, Vickers, Bird, NML, Nelson, Ryanbe, Sibley, Thomson, Hourihane, Fozzie (If he decides not to retire) Ward, Elder, Wilson just to name a few.

Great result, even better that we turned it around after an awful start, and against a team who were on the same points as us. We are right on the 2 points per game now as well. Could not be better, and an other midfield option with Thommo coming back into the side.
