  1. My prediction is that all the top 7 teams will drop points and wobble. I'm hoping that Northampton was our wobble. If we bounce back with a win on friday and hopefully at least a draw at Pompey then we can hopefully hold second place. What we need is for us to wobble less than those below us! COYR.

I'm sticking my neck out to say second place on 90 points.

the fans you want banning are angels and are just blowing off a bit of steam.

Really, so drug taking, throwing stuff that could cause injury and vandalism is just letting off steam? There are signs all around the pride park about such behaviour, yet nothing is done home or away when it happens?

You ought to have seen some of our lot at Bristol Rovers! Every club has them.

Why are they not dealt with then? Grab them by the collar, ID them and remove their away memberships immediately, and ban them from pride park. Simple.

Lets assume DCFC get promoted this season, An £8million windfall will be gone in an instant in players and wages

Thats so true. Why, because of player wages being way too high. When will this silly bubble burst! I think the only way is to make rules that restrict the wage bill to a % turnover, and an immediate points deduction to any team who declare a trading loss. Then remove parachute payments and put relegation clauses in every player contract, so relegated players only get paid the going rate for the division they drop into.

  5. Unfortunately the EFL have sold their soul for Sky TV cash, in order to keep their heads above the water in the financial chaos of football. If the clubs stopped paying out the ridiculous levels of wages to players then this would not be necessary. 😞 Who do we complain about Sky TV for working to the contract the EFL have signed, or the clubs and the EFL for signing it?

I'd suggest halving the EFL wage bill in every division would be a good start?
