Bristol R 0 Derby 2. FRGS NML.

People seem to forget that the restrictions are imposed on us as a punishment for previous financial mismanagement and breaking FFP rules, plus going into administration. To be honest I welcome the league one rules capping wages at 60% of turnover. It should also be trading turnover, not including equity inserted by a wealthy owner. Football needs to live within its means.
The same rule should apply to the championship too, and any club breaking the rules also given large points deductions. Do that and scrap parachute payments, and insert relegation clauses into player contracts in the premier league will go a long way to fixing the problems.

I'm fairly happy with the position we are in given the restrictions put on the club. The run of wins raised expectations way too high, but I'm hoping we will at least turn the form around a little and make the play offs. Warne is doing a good job, in difficult circumstances, so I'm happy with him.
My biggest concern is the risk of losing Knight in particular, with him entering the last year of his contract, then this summer will be the time to get decent money for him, which we might not be able to say no to. If he goes will Warne be allowed to use the cash to replace him? Also the Bielek situation is a huge financial millstone round our necks for another season potentially.

Reality is b4 the team we have should be good enough to make top 6. Regardless of what spending restrictions we have.
We are in the top 6. Lets await the next match, support the team and stop being entitled.

then plans should be made by the FA and government to subsidise the changes.
Why should it be down to the government to subsidise it? Plenty of money swilling around in the premier league, and championship clubs paying far too high a wage to many players. Football should fix itself.

That poems far better the one currently broadcast, which sounds a bit political.

Once again its all down to the behaviour of some fans, turning up full of ale, or coke, standing where they like, ignoring seat allocations. These idiots will ruin it for the majority of fans who just want to watch the game. What will happen when a large stand moves to safe standing, and people push into whatever gap they can find, including gangways, or squeezing two into the space meant for one?
It does sound like the design of the stadium at that end is awful, and reducing the numbers as has now happened was way overdue.
Its not being dealt with by the clubs/stewards/police/councils. I for one would love to visit some away grounds, but I won't given the stories coming out. They should have stopped the game until the Newcastle fans were in there allocated seats, and sat down. Fail to do so and forfeit the game. simple.

Pre match turn the lot off! It hurts the ears at times it’s so loud! SBW different drum beat to the song beat too, so the crowd starts clapping to a different time, it needs editing with a new drum beat.

What about the times we have gained points with a late equaliser or winning goal?
