    What absolute bull...

People will accept a defeat if the level of performance in good enough. It isn't, and hasn't been often enough this season. Hence, why people are fed up with what we're being given.

So a comment about the toxic atmosphere gets a toxic comment from a usual suspect. Seems the haters are taking over here. Cheerio. It’s really not worth the bother if you are just going to get shouted down. So much for discussion.

  2. Sad to see the toxic atmosphere here on the forum. Many fans think we are entitled to a result every week, and don’t grasp the fact that wins have to be scraped out every game. That’s the nature of the league we are in, and the ,imitations still upon us.

yes, it was a poor game, but so what. Move on and keep supporting the team, booing and abusing the players does not help one little bit, nor will sacking the manager before half of the season has passed. The time to consider this is at the end of this season, or a little earlier if it’s obvious a play off position won’t be obtained.

  3. The poster who mentioned people think they are entitled to success, hit the nail on the head. Toys then get thrown out of the pram when they don't get what they think they are entitled to! Mardiness is then spread across the forum. Poor things, are they upset? Welcome to the world of league 1 where it is not easy to get out, and results have to be scraped out every week.

I for one follow the rams with hope that the next game comes around quickly and will be a win, and I have never booed a rams team or player in my life.  I'd go to away matches too, but the entitled crowd who insist on standing regardless of who is behind them make that a non starter.

  4. It seems to me that the points deductions/relegation/business plans are all designed to punish a club who go into administration, and to ensure that club cannot easily bounce back. Its a punishment, and designed to make other clubs/owners take heed.

So I expect us to be close but not quite there again this year, but hopefully able to really challenge next season. It's not an easy league to get out of, and people need to wake up and realise that, take the mediocre football on the chin, support the team, stop the whining and booing.

  5. At the last match the tannoy in the north stand was so loud people were having to shout to each other, and it hurt the ears!. It completely kills any pre match atmosphere. On top of that the music was completely dire. Better off without it! SBW needs re recording with a decent beat, and get rid of the poem. Socialist claptrap, not needed at a football match.

Decent music that pleases all, much lower volume and and a new better version of SBW, with a beat that actually matches the song. This would go a long way to improving the pre match experience I think.

  6. Was there a drum at the baseball ground? Just everyone getting behinds the team. Let’s get rid of the stupid gimmicks, flags, masks, drums etc and just support the team. Let’s also get rid of the foul chant language, no need for it. To me the south stand project has resulted in nothing but bad stuff, which the club quietly forget about, despite promoting a code of conduct etc.

  7. Poor game, but a few good things stand out, like the look of Thompson and Wilson, but we really seem to lack a midfield general. What’s happened to Mendez-Laing? He seems to be a shadow of how he started last season. Should we go back the fuzzy and Cashin as two centre backs? The new ones seem to be struggling! I think Washington when fully fit with Waghorn might be a tough pair of forwards to deal with?

people seem to forget that this is not an easy league to get out of, and it’s going to be a long season.

Well our owner will need to understand that if that is his philosophy going forward, however laudable, it will probably lead to a certain level of pitch mediocrity, fans becoming disillusioned and a subsequent fall in attendances, revenue and interest. Sadly there doesn't appear to be such a thing in modern football (especially at this level) as a self sufficient club or at least a successful one. We will need occasionally to push the boat out to sign the kind of players that will get us out of the division otherwise we will end up being stuck here for years.

Which is what Mel Morris did...
