I think the stats show we aren't as direct of late and we don't seem to try and get it wide as fast at all costs.   Now whether this is because Warne has changed his tactics or the players are getting closer to what Warne has always asked I don't know but I think it's for the better. 
Our press looks better too - Collins seems to be fitter and his press has more intensity and he's being backed up better.     Overall we now look like a top 6 side, even a side who might challenge for top 2 in a weak season. 
 If we are going to go with a back 5 though for me I still need convincing - I'm not saying it can't work but I've yet to see enough to be confident the defensive frailties of early season are overcome. 

Not a chance

Tonight is the first time I think Warne sounded like 'a Derby manager'. 
We are the biggest team in this division and Warne saying he thinks we're chasing Portsmouth, he's not always happy with a 0-1 and that today is how we should be playing is exactly how I think he should be approaching our time in League One.
We can win this division. Let's get stuck in to it and get it f****** done.

What an overreaction to something very basic. Typical of this day and age though.
So the club have introduced safe standing but need to make it very clear to everybody that it isn't a general admision and doesn't mean you can go stand where you want like we used to on the popside.
It appears to me that in order to get that message across, they introduced more rigerous ticket checks before the very first match after the rails were installed. 
And that gets the message across. A 5 second check to make sure you're not going to stand in another block to be with your mates, nothing more and nothing less.
Give it a few matches and they probably won't be as vigerous (if they are, then perhaps it might be time to start moaning)
It seams to me that a tempory slight diruption is a small price to pay for gettting what you've been wanting for a decade or two

Took a couple of photos of the new rail setup on Saturday. You can can tell some people weren't happy with the way it was handled just by looking at their faces!


 

It's been a couple of years since I took a flight but I'm pretty sure (from my fading memory) that boarding passes are checked at least twice: - once at the departure lounge when your section of the aircraft is called forward to board and then again at the actual entrance to the aircraft. If there was a risk/history of flyers just choosing to sit wherever they liked rather than carefully seeking out their correct seat then perhaps there would be another level of checks implemented on aircrafts. But, there isn't so I don't think you can compare the two experiences.
In any event, although I wasn't at the game on Saturday, I can't help but feel this was more of "getting use to the new procedure minor irritation" rather than anything really worth getting worked up and complaining about.

There probably wouldn’t have been as many posts if her previous games at PPS hadn’t been so good. You become used to the s*** refs in this league. 
But the fall in performance from her was huge.

Have you tried viewing it from the perspective of a comfortably well-off middle-aged white bloke who doesn't care about what it means for the poorest in Argentinian society, but loves any idea that means people like him might  be able to prosper? That might help

or
b) the strongest available on the night taking into account injuries, first team requirements , moods, arguments with the girlfriend, arguments with the boyfriend, whether they can do it in a wet Monday in Loughborough
