From Mel. As a “fan” it’s the least that he can do.
Would you believe him?
How would it improve your state of mind?
A public apology would be the biggest waste of breath since the last time he said anything in public.
Just think about nice stuff.

So you think we should have relied on reading losing every game? Hmmm..
A draw and we'd still be in with a chance.

The inevitable has happened, they had to go for the win.
Get the club taken over and rebuild, next season will be really good I think if we keep this togetherness.
They really didn't have to go for the win.

On the plus side, Lawrence won't play for us again.

That ref was desperate for Fulham to win it, Jobi Mcanuff had to severely backtrack after claiming Fulham would come and steamroller over us.
Sky, the ref and the EFL we’re utterly desperate to see Fulham celebrating promotion on our pitch tonight. . .

So what's the solution?
The players within the current test set up don't play enough first class cricket to gain experience in captaincy, so you either have to take someone from outside who has captaincy experience or you get someone from within the set up and make them captain.
I have too many bad memories of Chris Cowdrey to think the first could ever be a good idea, so it's the second. As I said before, that's probably Stuart Broad.

The job as England captain is different to being Derby manager was the pint I was making in respect of quoting your post.
Someone has to be a good enough to play Test Cricket, likely to stay fit to play all tests and be a good captain.
Can you think of anyone who fits all 3 criteria?
One of the 11 player that get picked to play

It's not the same thing because you are playing as well.
and he can carry on doing that. But there's no reason to keep him as captain just because the selectors can't think of another person to do it.

But who will you replace him with?
I dunno. But that's not really the point for me. We get the same arguments over Derby managers. Just because there's no obvious replacement, doesn't mean he should continue.
He's bad at his job so he shouldn't be doing it.
They probably need to go on the knees in front of Stuart Broad as a short-term option until a long-term candidate emerges.

Who on earth voted to keep him here?
I might have done. Not sure. I just click on one of the options.

Wasn't this a couple of months ago?
Have I got him mixed up?

For a bit of balance, “Andy” posted this three days ago before coming back to stir the pot. Have no issue with his info, but frankly his/his mates motives are questionable and his posts are too unbalanced. He can do one because he’s just playing on peoples distressed emotions.
Why does it have to be balanced?

or the stocks? We could fund the club by paying a couple of quid each to chuck stuff at him.
