I really want to celebrate a PB being named after months of Q false starts, but it just feels like the start of another chapter in the dcfc saga. I’m a bit underwhelmed to be honest, but maybe after CK has laid out his plans for the future, things will become clearer. ( Not via Twitter please Chris )
Yep. We've just reached Weathertop. Not even got to Rivendell yet.

Folks, please, can we not descend into arguing amongst ourselves? It's counterproductive and isn't going to help anything.
Where's the fun in that?

You are another one missing the point. CK doesn't come across as having much 'smarts'.
I've already said for me he's better than liquidation.
Do I have to rate him or like him?!
I think it has to be all or nothing. You are not allowed to like something that a person does but not like something else. In fact, that situation couldn't possibly come about.

Problem with people in this country is they are more concerned about saying something wrong that may offend someone in a minority rather than looking what is really happening in this world and see to standing up and fighting against countries that think they can do as they please.

What's the difference between the premier league's fit and proper person test and the EFL's? (no, this isn't the start of a joke)
Would Abramovic, Thaksin Shinawatra and the Saudi royal family pass the EFL one too? If so, it shouldn't be too much trouble for a mildly louche American bloke to pass it.

Ive never liked manu even disliked Beckam, but ive always liked wazza, the same with, gazza, proper working class boys, having to come to football the hard way.
Working class kids don't come to football the hard way. They become doctors, lawyers etc the hard way. But not footballers.

I don't see an issue with historic tweets and it does rather annoy me. I am sure at some point we have all done or said something we aren't proud of, it doesn't define who we are. There was a furore about a potential Chelsea owner. It is ridiculous to dig them up. I am sure we are all different people to who we were 10+ years ago, times change as do people. Lets move on and hope this god awful mess is sorted sooner rather than later.
Whilst this is true, I for one did not hold misogynistic and homophobic views 10 years ago and I wonder if anyone who did has changed that much.
A spokesperson is claiming they weren't his views to begin with.

Within reason. We're not going to get liquidated
Worse than -15 points next season putting another relegation on the cards?

There would be nothing worse than getting another 15 taken off now, to play out the remainder of the season and find that we would have stayed up. Yes of course it's great that the future of the club is secured but it would still be devastating to get relegated and nothing will change that feeling. I sincerely hope that the reports about a further deduction are not true. Just let us dream for a few more weeks at least.
Nothing worse? Surely you can't mean that.

Every credible article so far has said "Derby County are facing the prospect of another heavy points deduction next season, as the club's administrators prepare to finally name a preferred bidder."
So why in the sun have they decided it's going to be this season. I don't get what's changed.
In effect we are getting relegated with a -15 deduction this season and with a squad that knows each other.
Who wants to go through all this poo again next season?

Why can't they cough up a few more to satisfy the creditors. I never thought we would be liquidated anyway. But to rush through this deal and accept another -15 is awful. What's going on with the stadium, is he paying for that too?
I can't answer your questions but I don’t think the deal is rushed. The deal would be the very epitome of 'in the nick of time'.

It's in the Derby Telegraph, so I wouldn't worry too much about it being true. Poor old "Rammybo65" having "kittens" doesn't "add" anything to "the" situation.
