Still chucking at the fact this fella is coming for a nice weekend away in sunny Derbyshire and one of you lot has told him to go to a Wagamama in a shopping centre 😂

I've honestly lost track of who's a Derby fan and who's a Bolton fan in this thread.
Only one way to explain a team's performances over a season to someone who's not been to games. It's not Xg, or any of those stats. It's the league table.
Came home from the pub last night absolutely steaming. Mrs was well up for a bit of romance. Couldn't get little Oodle up. Absolutely limp.
I assume that still counts as getting my end away though. Ended my night on +1 expected shag, so that pretty much shows everyone how good I am in bed.
That's how stupid it Xg is.

This is a historic fixture. One of ours scored the first goal ever in worldwide league football against you in a game you went on to win - 137 years ago!
We have an appalling away record against you - the 4th worst of all the teams we've played. You've halted your slide down the leagues, we're on the way back from the brink of extinction. Two original clubs.
History points to you winning again today and the contrast of styles and tactics will be decisive one way or the other.
We're nervous - you're nervous - it's massive and PP will be full. Which for a League 1 game is outstanding.
    Whoever wins - fair play.

Unfortunately, it's become pretty evident having moved away from Derby, that there is a quite large section of our fanbase that are absolute morons that do stoop to that level. Watched many an idiot after too many shandies on a Saturday away kicking off at people in other towns on away days for no reason

Top performance from the boys today under big pressure. Business end of the season, lots riding on every game. We followed up two back to back defeats with back to back 3-0 wins including dismantling a side in really good form and to be honest a place I thought we’d slip up at. Barnsley were certainties for autos according to some on here after beating us (you get promoted by beating your rivals after all!!), well not if you throw in a 5-1 home defeat to midtable Lincoln. Can you imagine what the meltdown would be on here if we did that. FWIW Barnsley are still well in it if they can bounce back.

Think Warne has stumbled across the winning formula with this line up. Ward and Sibley have been outstanding so dangerous from Wing back, and the front three are a real threat. Then we actually look like we have a decent bench now.
Feel this could be a real defining moment today, this week can definitely be defining. Not if we don’t have a great week, we’ll still be in the mix if that happens but if we have a great week and win both matches, I’d be extremely confident in us getting over the line.
But this is Derby, we’ll find a way to make things difficult and there will be plenty of twists and turns. But if we’ve found this level of performance at this stage of the season, and we can sustain it, then it’s extremely encouraging.

Quantuma were pretty gullible being taken in by Kirchner, but they weren't the only ones. The 'honourable' local MP's also jumped on the bandwagon, then typically slithered under the door when the truth emerged.

Maybe the club have decided they don't want betting in the stadium? I remember David Clowes saying in the summer he could easily have a betting company as a shirt sponsor, but he was not keen on it.

I've been on the lash all day in Belper so bear with...not a punch or a kick thrown 😉
Were there innocents hurt...yes there was, Far too many that weren't reported as it was a common occurrence, Heysel, Hillsboro, Bradford saw some horrendous deaths due to Fans, Police and old stadia...who's to blame?
Danny Dyer oh please...a manufactured programme to put him in the limelight of being a "hard case" there were a good few from the Neptune who didn't want the DLF on his programme but some of the more high profile DLF crowd won the day...it was embarrassing...imo. Books were written of embellished journeys through the lives of "football hooligans" the Brimsons from Watford were the 1st to put pen to paper, They looked the part but as they say "the pen is mightier than the sword" both a pair of fantasists.
Life is not worth losing for a game of football...it's mind boggling that this could happen, But lives are lost every weekend in towns up and down the Country...age teaches you one thing...to learn and listen to others, What happened 30-40-50 years ago through football was something we did as others did, Nothing to be proud or ashamed of it was a life that some chose to follow.
I'll end with this...I loved the 70s-80s made so many friends that you could re float the Titanic with them all, Today...I'm just an old fella that's still has his memories...and I'll share them with anyone who would like to hear them.
Enjoy your weekend of what's left...I will ☺️

Ex-Navy here. Me too - I haven’t worn a poppy in years and the current climate in which Remembrance Day is used to evoke some sense of blind nationalism, whilst our government aids the bombing of civilians in other countries, has reinforced my commitment to never wear one again.
That said - if you do, fair enough. Displays like this always feel fairly crass to me but I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t have been allowed to go ahead.
