He's a central midfielder, osborn would be more out wide, probably a full back/ wing back option
northantsram
Would be really happy with this, seen him a lot playing for the cobblers and he has a lot of potential. A midfielder that can play a bit and score goals, future Scotland international for sure. Carl Sagan, Premier ram and hintonsboots

Ambitious
He's had a really good season at Northampton, and it's no surprise there is a queue for his signature. I'd assume that Brighton are doing right by him by allowing a number of clubs to reach their asking price, so he can get the best deal commercially for himself, rather than Brighton get the majority of the money and force him to one location. The Championship is still a significant step-up from League One, so despite how well he's done at Northampton (first in League Two and then in League One) it's perhaps best to approach this with caution and not get dragged into a contract we don't feel comfortable with for what is still a developmental punt at Championship level. Comrade 86
More of a hunch than anything, but I'd think the potential upside with this lad might be higher than with Osborn, though the latter is perhaps the safer option.
northantsram
Not IKT or anything but i do know that location is important to him as he wants to be closer to home (Scotland) than Brighton. He also wants to test himself in the championship so i suspect we may have a a decent chance here looking at other clubs on that list. Ram1988
We need strength in depth in midfield especially when ours is so thin. I think he would be a great signing even if did sign Ebou and/or Osborne.
