My old stalwarts like @hintonsboots and @Steve How Hard? Are usually my most reliable partners in the noble art of the double entendre but they seem to have been sleeping on the job recently. sage
Just watched the highlights of Bayer Laverkeusen's 3-0 win over Bayern. It could have been 6 or 7. Smashed them.

Van der MoodHoover
It's the super eagles of Nigeria vs the elephants of Cote divoire. The semis were pretty cagey so hoping for a bit more this evening. At least should be a good crowd 👍 RadioactiveWaste
Bris Vegas
Growing up I always considered Ivory Coast and Nigeria to be the two most iconic African footballing nations. It’s sort of fitting that they are in the final. RadioactiveWaste

Roger Milla's dancing celebrations at the corner flag, Oman Biyek, Cyril Makinake... and cleaning out Claudio Caniggia at the 3rd attempt to hack him down 😂. Gave England a scare in the knock out rounds too! Crewton and Van der MoodHoover 1
Van der MoodHoover
Very sliw passing round at the back. Occasional hopeful ball lofted forward. 0-0 after half an hour. I'm having deja vu And just as I typed that, the Nigerian Sonny Bradley plants a header from a corner in. First effort on goal. Now if Nigeria try to hold out for 60 mins I'll know where Warne gets his tactics manual from..... angieram

Ran all over and through Bulgaria I think it was and beat them 3-0. My very first memory was Zaire in 74 when they lost 9-0 I think to Yugoslavia. African football has come a long way in my lifetime.
