Someone who's sole job is to dominate the pockets defensively, assisting our full backs when the opposition cut inside. FKANorwichExile Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 He's a similar sort of player to Bird in that he's good technically but doesn't have as much influence on the game as you'd want from a single pivot defensive mid.
