Not a full season with him mind. They managed to stay up without him. So he's no great shakes is he. All this yo-yoing is vaguely acceptable when it's Prem to Championship, or if you are Rotherham. But he has shown no sign of being a good long-term manager for this club. I wonder when the 'established in the Championship' aims will fade. They averaged 1.5 points per game under Warne and then just under 1 point per game under Matt Taylor, who’s now been sacked. Not a full season with him mind. You are correct. He was appointed interim to the end of that season. Once relegated in the April he was given the job on a permanent 12 month rolling contract. The point I was making was him only winning promotion with 1 team, with an already established style of play, and all the players used to playing that way.
