Can anyone actually name a single improvement Warne has done since arriving?

He will have done so with massive budgetary and EFL restrictions on signings which neither Mac or Lampard had to work with

the restrictions are there, but there not massive. We have quite easily one of, if not the best squad in the division.

Also warne has got absolutely nowhere near what Lampard and Mac acheived in terms of playing style.

He will have failed to get us promoted just like lampard and Steve Mac after a long season with some good stuff , some dross , some good decisions some stinkers we the fans totally disagree with , some luck , some bad luck , some good refs some poor refs , let’s not forget Mac dropping Bryson and ten men , let’s not forget lampard hand being forced by injury away at Leeds then reverting to type with Wembley team sheet ,

you want derby to play a certain way and want warne out because of that ,, that’s ok it’s your opinion , the rest of your arguments and points are just ludicrous 🤷🏻‍♂️

what are they then?

For a few years we’ve been a good footballing team with a soft underbelly.

We’ve generally had players who can pass the ball but other than McGoldrick have lacked a good striker since CM.

Warne has come in and replaced flaky skills with pragmatism and experience.

The only ‘spark’ comes from Barkhuisen and Wilson. They try things even if they don’t always work. NML is all pace and power but little end product.

Bird at least can pass but needs to trust in his teammates and take more risks.

I was hoping TJJ would bring youth and pace and I really hope he gets fit. Remember McGoldrick took a while to get right.

It’s all too slow and predictable at the moment and easy to defend against.

If Warne gives his players the permission to try things even if they don’t always get it right we can thrive.

Quick first time passing is the way forward.

This thread is about improvements |Warne has brought about and yet you hope for something he has signally failed with, yet he endlessly promises that this is what he wants. "Ineffective" is the word that describes his management currently.

He brought out the best ever season of didzy s career 🤷🏻‍♂️

1,  Didzy carried the entire team and Warne for the majority of last season. I think its pretty safe to say Warne had no input into 'bringing the best out of Didzy', other than picking him in the line ups. How many times last season were we struggling with our ineffective tactics and then out of nowhere Didzy would just come up with a moment of magic.

2,  If thats the only answer you could come up with after all this time, then that says it all about Warne.

Fact remains warne got more out of didzy than any other manager in his career, jeez he had never scored a hatrick , warne got 3 out of him in one repeat one season , if the above is what you come up with it says it all about you , in your book any players doing badly it’s down to warne any doing well it’s nothing to do with him 🤷🏻‍♂️, I get he’s not the manager for you but come on 😂
ps the thread asked for a SINGLE improvement 😂

The whole premise of the initial question is very heavily loaded 'Can anyone actually name a single improvement Warne has done since arriving?'

Let's discuss what changes Warne has tried, succssesfully or unsucsessfully, to implement throughout DCFC since his arrival?

Now that question is a little more balanced and would provoke a very balanced and interesting debate.

We have to look at this sustainably and realistically. What is his wage budget. Has he appointed well in his backroom staff What changes, if any, is he trying to take the club forward with the academy/younger players? How much pressure do we think he is under from Clowes. What is his relationship with Clowes.

Only before all this and so much more has been discussed, considered and debated can decisions be realistically formed.

Go on then, you do that and we'll critique it.
