He's definitely got all the right attributes that we've been looking for.

Pace, skill, League One and Championship experience, a good pedigree at youth level and nowhere near 30 years old.

After seeing him against our u18s in the season we won the u18 league, I thought he was one of their best players alongside Saka. Surprised he's not gone on to better things, but hopefully he can sign with us and show us what he's capable of and we might have a chance of making the deal more permanent. His contract is over at the end of the season and I doubt that Arsenal will be looking to offer him a new one at 22 when you see them looking to offload Balogun now.

I'd be very happy with this signing and hopefully we can see more of the player he was at youth levels.

I’m really happy with this signing - it’s a player I’ve been pushing for all summer.

He’s a gamble, because of his injury record, but his technical ability is outstanding. Physically, he’s a good height, is quick, agile. He can play upfront, in the 10 and out wide. He is the ideal player to roll the dice on.

You simply don’t get a player of his technical ability at his age at this level without some drawback. Ipswich fans really like him.

I hope it works out for both him and us.

ARSENAL wonderkid Tyreece John-Jules has pleaded with the club to end his "draining" loan odyssey as he wants to "settle down".

John-Jules, 22, has been with the Gunners since the tender age of eight years old but has never broken into the senior squad.

Sounds like he might reject the move anyway

Looking at his appearance record, every single season he has a good 3-4 months out injured in a row. Over the last 3 full seasons he's played 3059 minutes in all competitions, that's only 34 full 90's. In other words - he's only managing 11 or so games every season. Looks like another Mason Bennett to me - always injured.
