Pat Lyons still here isn’t he? It sounds like nonsense to me - Carbone is a candidate for the Sheff Wednesday first team job alongside our u21 job? 

Says on the Academy thread that Pat Lyons has left.

No because they won’t get permits to be here unless they were the best of the best.

Its not a very nice place, best described as a Town just outside a huge meat packing factory, the products from the factory are ok though.

That was never the case based on the points system. However, from this season on, L1 and L2 clubs can sign 2 overseas players who don't meet work permit rules, whilst PL and Championship clubs are allowed up to 4.

GOC - I didn’t know about the changes. That’s gone under the radar, however having read through all the pages of the document about how you scored points beforehand, the chances of a lower level club signing a permit player (young or old) were virtually none existent.

The threshold for managers was a lot lower bizarrely.
