As long as they don’t break any laws or incite bad behaviour they should be able to express their views. We live in a world in which if a few people are offended, a person is vilified and the mob demands their head. Lineker is a good presenter. I don’t agree with all of his views but he’s entitled to them. On the flip side I enjoy football without punditry. I don’t need someone else to tell me what I’ve just seen. Imagine if, instead of an ad break in a drama, they switched to a studio so someone could explain what’s happening and why someone is behaving in a certain manner.
