What is your...

- Grandad’s Team - none
- Dad’s Team - none, hated football
- Mum’s Team - England, poss Man City as she loved Franny Lee!

- Everyone at your school's Team - no idea

- Your local Team now - Alfreton Town

- Your kids Team(s) - not got any.

No football history in my family at all, apart from my lovely mum, with whom I watched us on tv win the World Cup in 1966. I thought watching England was always going to be like this.

First went to Baseball Ground with my new boyfriend in 74/75. I thought watching Derby County was always going to be like this.

In retrospect, I think I peaked too early!

- Grandad’s Team-Derby
- Dad’s Team-Derby
- Mum’s Team-Derby

- Everyone at your school's Team- Of those that I’d say were ‘proper’ football fans most were Sheffield United, then Sheff Wed and Derby took up a pretty even split of local support. Fair few Man United fans too as it wasn’t a million miles away. Bakewell finds itself being a bit of a divide. The villages and towns ‘south’ of Bakewell are the Derby County fans whilst north of Bakewell it was very much the Sheffield teams and Manchester.

- Your local Team now- Sheffield United, but non league wise I tend to keep up with Sheffield Hallam and on occasion Sheffield FC.

- Your kids Team(s)- Don’t think they get much of a choice!

Grandad’s Team - one didn’t like football the other is Derby.
- Dad’s Team - Derby.
- Mum’s Team - not overly bothered but she’d said Norwich.

- Everyone at your school's Team - man United as it was the late 90’s/2000’s.

- Your local Team now - Lincoln city.

- Your kids Team(s) the oldest is just starting to show an interest. There’s an argument between me and my father in law as to whether she will get a derby shirt or a Grimsby one for her birthday.

How is your girl now, if you don't mind me asking?

I know she had a tricky start, but has everything settled down now?

Apologies if I've mixed you up with another poster, in advance.

None of my immediate family had any interest in football. One day when we were bored I went with a friend from school to see Derby, way back in 1967. I was hooked and have been ever since. My 3 sons all support Derby. One is married to a Forest supporter though! I don't know which team their children are going to support. I'll have to work on them.

Grandad’s Team - My mum’s dad wasn’t interested in football (he was Welsh though ?). Never knew my dad’s dad.
- Dad’s Team - Villa
- Mum’s Team - West Brom

- Everyone at your school's Team - We moved from West Bromwich to near Ashby DLZ when I was 15 so, first school was West Brom, second would have been Leicester or Derby

- Your local Team now - Tamworth

- Your kids Team(s) - One daughter not interested in football (although she came with me to Portsmouth and Leeds but mainly just for the day out). The other daughter is Man Utd (she does live near Manchester though and went to Uni there so, I’ll forgive her).

-Grandad’s Team-i only knew him when he lived in derby and as I was derby mad he had an interest in them. Think he was a Slavia Prague/Sparta Prague  fan but unsure. Was my next door neighbor that got me into derby not family members!

- Dad’s Team-couldnt care less about football. Would choose derby because of me though

- Mum’s Team-see above

- Everyone at your school's Team-man united/derby county

- Your local Team now-exeter city

- Your kids Team(s)-shes torn. She likes derby because of me but Exeter is local and she can come to matches with me and our family friends, plus she got a stadium tour on the sly. She wants to support Exeter I think because it's all about the experience she has there and I would love that to be honest
