No urgency whatsoever. Morocco were classic spoilers and did look well organised to be fair. Hope they go out.

TuffLuff
Quite a lot of mid tier teams have picked up draws. My prediction today is whilst the rest of today and tomorrow might be a bit of a damp squib, it will really pick up again on Friday and Saturday as everyone needs to win. Carl Sagan
Feel it's a bit of an indictment of the English that Jamal Musiala, who came through the Chelsea academy and the England youth ranks up to U21 level, and says England is his home, is starting for Germany today. Apparently Southgate took it for granted he'd continue to play for us when Joachim Low went all out to land him for the German national team. Maybe it's an indictment of the German game that they are scrabbling around like Jack Charlton for players with a vague German connection SKRam and Crewton 1

To be fair, he was born in Germany, German/Nigerian parents, moved to England age 7, spent 9 years here and moved back to Germany. Only right he plays for Germany. Not a fan of trying to lure young players from other countries based on weird FIFA rules. Crewton, ariotofmyown and TigerTedd 2

Get what you're saying, but in professional sport you tend to do everything you possibly can to create and advantage and to win. But, that said, picking England ahead of Germany (or Canada) didn't work out very well for Owen Hargreaves.

Players should be advised to play for whichever nation they feel most represents them. I found the tug of war over Declan Rice incredibly sordid. Don't feel like any manager should chase a player, the player should want to represent England and if they can't, not just go play for Scotland for example as they have a granny up there or something. Norman
The Germans look really dodgy when teams actually high press. We tore them apart for 15 minutes and scored 3 goals doing it , Japan really should be level. SKRam

JoetheRam
Japan playing like prime Leicester. So much pace and energy on the break. Couple of tidy technical players too. Deserve a point.
