And will Newcastle fans care either way if that’s the outcome. it’s crazy that on the one hand we’re denouncing this, while simultaneously allowing it to carry on. the premier league, the government, whoever, can’t have it both ways. You either care where the money comes from, or you don’t. We're not only allowing it to happen, we're begging for it to happen to us! All we need is a rich investor... On the one hand it's a ludicrous request, seeking to pass the burden of their own restrictions onto a party that hasn't contributed to their situation. It's especially hypocritical, as it's from a team that briefly benefitted from a limited home fan presence with no away fans last season during the lockdown. They weren't complaining then. On the other hand, it's Boro. I'm torn. SaffyRam, Indyram and RadioactiveWaste 1
TuffLuff
Meh, if it goes through it may be a bit of karma for Boro’s meddling with us…’whose club have got no part of this whole saga whatsoever’ RadioactiveWaste

Sorry, typo, hilarious. As for Chelsea fans? Lol. Campaign for new ownership and peace in Ukraine and disavow Putin's oligarchs. Like, not chanting his name for a start. And also remember the club Chelsea were before the roubles rocked up. A London version of Everton (at best) without the redeeming features. And there are very few mega rich people who didn’t get there doing something dodgy. The PL and FA are now very sensitive to this. Means the next Chelsea owner is likely to be American or called Candy. And will certainly not be Russian or Chinese
