It was clearly tweeted out by an unthinking social media admin who swiftly got told by his/her superiors that it was inappropriate given the circumstances. Either that or it’s incredible poohousery that is almost worthy of applause. That deletion is in itself an admission of guilty intent but also a large indicator of just how unprofessional and puerile the EFL are. I’ve also had other people confirm this happened. I thought it was cheeky on their part, but didn't think it was overly insidious. The fact they have deleted it does tell its own story though.
