I get the feeling based on his discussions with the manger he's not overly keen to play there either, so can't see that continuing if he's still here. Yes we might be able to replace him with some 30 year olds on free transfers, but if we go back to the championship that is not going to cut it and to buy a Knight equivalent you’re talking £5m+. Let’s not forget he’s only 21 years old and has over 100 appearances for us already. He’s not even close to his prime in my opinion. If we have to let his contract run down, see if we go back up and then lose him for nothing if we don’t then so be it.
