Yes Chadd Lad born and bred, I was in the year below Andy Rowland of Swindon Town fame. Northcliffe United along with Rainbow Athletic and Carrabean All Stars were pretty much at the top of the tree in those days I used to go and watch in the 60s Derby Roe Farm, Chris Fuller in goal, Eric Allsop at right wing, Fuller had trials with Aston Villa when Tommy Doc was there, Allsop went and signed for Bury, But came back as he was homesick. Kenavo
Brittany, France Brest (Plymouth probably the closest in the UK) Never lived anywhere near Derby (closest club growing up in saarf london was Palace), but my grandad was a season ticket holder at the BBG for 40 years, so I never had a choice. I think we're the silent majority as it's quite boring to say: Derby Derby Cos I'm from Derby and me mum & dad wouldn't have it any other way. And it's the same for my lad. It's not a choice. Crewton
I spent years away from Derby working. At various times my nearest league club has been QPR, Watford, Brentford, Millwall, Charlton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Reading, Coventry, Peterborough, Birmingham City and Villa. Only ever visited those stadiums to watch the Rams play though. Very happy to have a Derby postal address again though. Ken Tram
