duncanjwitham
Basically confirmed what we all think then. angieram
The statement is out and it all boils down to the EFL insisting on the Middlesbrough and Wycombe claims being sorted before purchase. Three bids on the table but we cannot move on them. The EFL have won. r_wilcockson, Zag zig, cosmic and 3 others 4
BucksRam
Honestly unbelievable. How can the EFL stand there and say they represent their members. ?

Gritstone Tup
It says they have an exit plan to put before creditors once they’ve dealt with Gibbo and friends. That’s a long way off being realised, if we get rid of pinky and perky the deal for creditors has to be credible.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army
If I were a supporter of either Boro or Wycombe I'd be ashamed to say that was my club. Rev, r_wilcockson, Ramarena and 7 others 2

Scott129
Well that's then. How are we supposed to deal with a club who want £45m from us? And what kind of idiot would buy us with that hanging overhead? David Graham Brown, Crewton and Derby4Me

They say the Boro/Wycombe claims have to be addressed but neither those clubs nor the EFL have actually started legal proceedings or set up a tribunal. There’s nothing official to resolve - only threats. So DCFC have no means to resolve this. As EFL are choosing to treat these threats as actionable, surely they’re liable to being sued by our creditors (for endangering their chance of receiving payment) and DCFC (for restraint of trade). A new buyer seems happy to take the club on but the EFL - despite there statement- are classing these two twits as football creditors by their own decree. The admin haven't put sufficient funding in place assuming they would get this over the line today- that was an error. In the meantime, with interest, debts get higher. If we go under in the next week or two they get nothing. Indy and r_wilcockson 1

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army
This has definitely been plotted by Gibson and the EFL to make sure this gets dragged out knowing full well that they have no chance of a plausible case. Any decent lawyer would take them down - maybe the crowd funding needs to support this.
