Don't recall him making a save even though Forest regularly got into our final third Byrne 5 - not one of his better games. Some good delivery from wide & looked to overlap but noticed some hesitancy putting the ball into the box. Defensively not great - stood off Garner for his goal & struggled to stop crosses coming in from their left wing, particularly second half Wisdom 6 - generally OK. Recall a couple of sloppy passes second half but also provided emergency defensive cover as they countered in numbers Clarke 7 - best defender tonight by some distance. Won everything in the air & made some crucial last ditch interventions. Buchanan 4 - struggled horribly against Knockaert & offered little going forward. Got targeted in the air & lost a crucial clash with Worrall that set up their goal Knight 5 - can't fault his work rate but he has to start offering more quality on the ball. Too many easy balls are going awry (particularly first half to Byrne) & shocking effort from 6 yards. Would swap him & Bird - Knight is a fetcher & carrier whereas Max can hurt teams with quality Shinnie 5 - bit quiet really as he tends to be when we have a lot of the ball. He's better breaking play up & releasing into space, which he wasn't going to get against a team sitting as deep as Forest. Bird 7 - thought Max was pretty good tonight. Happy in possession, some decent little balls between the lines & some crucial interceptions/clearances Waghorn 5 - first 30 mins were decent, he harried down the right flank & got involved in move that led to Jozwiak's chance. Thereafter, sloppy touches, drifted out of the game & got in the way of Knight for what would have been a great chance second half CKR 7 MOM - was barely in the match for long periods but that wasn't his fault, had no service at all. Absolute cracking goal to grab us a point & two decent efforts second half (one narrowly past the post & one deflected over) on the two other occasions he had anything resembling service. Jozwiak 5 - hard working & OK when running with the ball but little threat. Spilled one but dived at Murray’s feet to re-gather. 2 poor kicks out straight to red dogs. Byrne.......6. Not quite “on it”. Statuesque for the dogs’ goal. Wisdom...6. Dallied at times and looked prone to a costly error. Clarke......6 Collectively the defence was a bit ragged at times. 1 game too far in a week? Buchanan...5 Below par. Knockaert found some joy. Knight........5 Missed a sitter. Not quite “at it”. Shinnie......6 Effective but without the forward flair. Bird............7 Won his battles. We need to see more forward passing. Waghorn.....7 Some scruffy & sloppy play but not so many errors and fought hard. CKR............8 MotM Smashed in an unlikely equaliser from nothing. Had to come deep to get the ball.
