England Ram Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 Roos- 5 Didn’t concede an easy stop like Marshal, although spilled it and almost did. Other than that struggled to kick it all game and gifted them the ball all too often. Byrne- 6 Average. One of those games where he wasn’t looking to go forward or pass forward much and that made him average. Wisdom- 5 Poor. Sick to death of his negativity even when midfielders were in space asking for it. Once he’s decided to pass it to Clarke it doesn’t matter who else is clear he’s going to pass it to him. Clarke- 6 Slightly less poor than Wisdom but needs to be braver with his forward play. Buchanan- 5 Having a really poor run of form lately. Knight- 5 Poor. Ran around a lot, missed a sitter and didn’t help the front line with his consistently wayward passing. Shinnie- 6 Defensively OK but gives the ball away too often with poor passing. Bird- 6 Forward play OK but not brave enough and defensively average, although the last minute block masks it. Waghorn- 5 Back to normal. CKR- 7 MOTM Was pleading for the early forward ball and making space and didn’t get it. Brilliant finish to give him MOTM Jozwiak- 5 Frustrating. Just frustrating. I know they don’t count but: Marshal - 4 Poor. No excuse with ‘injury’ because if he already felt it then he should have come off already. Sibbo- 7 Forward thinking and actually put them on the back foot. Roberts - 7 Effective and should have had an assist. Gregory - 7 Made a difference and should have scored. JarodyDCFC Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 Roos- 5 Almost made a terrible error, didn’t actually have much to do but his distribution was generally poor. Byrne- 5 Looked tired. Got outran defensively and offered nothing this time around with his set plays and his crosses. Wisdom- 5 A couple of very shaky moments defensively and missed a clearance for the Forest goal. Clarke- 5 Didn’t feel particularly confident with him on the ball as I typically do. Gave it away a fair few times, his passing was generally poor and a couple of times he switched off. Buchanan- 4 Needs a rest. In the air he wins a lot of headers, but most of if not all of their chances came down the left hand side of the pitch. Looked great when he’d had a few games rest after the Birmingham and Wednesday games. Can’t be good for his development to be getting targeted every few days by the opposition. Knight- 5 At times he was getting clearly frustrated. Should’ve scored from that corner. His movement off the ball was the best out of our entire team which isn’t saying much. The times he did move well off the ball we actually created a few more chances. Needs to run in behind more often. Shinnie- 4 Honestly forgot he was on the pitch. Didn’t offer anything in midfield tonight despite playing very well against Huddersfield. Bird- 5 Thought he played well in the first thirty minutes, won the ball back for us a couple times, defensively sound and moved the ball very well. After their goal, not so much, pretty much went missing after that. No one ever gave him an option when he did have the ball. Waghorn- 5 Offered very little offensively. Nothing more to say than that. Didn’t do much wrong but didn’t affect the game at all. CKR- 7 Saved us tonight. When he did get the ball we actually managed to keep possession quite well through his excellent hold up play. But we were a bit too insistent on playing between Bird, Wisdom and Clarke in our own half. Jozwiak- 5 Again offered little going forward but it’s difficult to say he put a foot wrong all night.
