HT 0-0

Derby a good 6 or 7 out of 10 when out of possession. Easily a 2-3 out of 10 when in possession.

Any Blackburn improvement not matched or bettered by Derby will see us lose this game handily, but as it currently sits this is fairly evenly bad.

Rooney will walk into this side, even

Wayne Rooney would get into this starting XI even if he had to have one of his feet amputated.

He's got tons of potential quality. But one good pass vs 10 shocking ones does not a good player make. He needs to massively improve the rate at which he finds Derby players with them.

Oh yeah, doesn’t defend the rest of his performance today. But he doesn’t deserve all the blame- he’s been no worse than Bielik, and better than Dowell, who once again may as well not be there.

How does Cocu get the blame for players who cannot pass the ball 5 yards?

Some of these players were not that bad last season. Bogle, Waghorn, Holmes for instance.

I have utterly no idea what we’re trying to do. If we’re playing wing backs why does Wisdom take throws in one side and Malone on the other. Surely Forsyth should be.

We are stood still on the ball. Zero, zilch movement and Waghorn is a yard behind play for the outlet ball into space.

Bogle doesn’t look comfortable as a winger. He doesn’t have a clue what he’s supposed to be doing and when he does get the chance to run at them, he slows down allowing the defensive player to regroup.

This is turgid. Cocu will have a transfer window, he will have the opportunity to see if Rooney can turn us from a diabolical football team into something that resembles a team.

Bit right now, it’s truly awful.

Agreed. That was Bielik's worst half for us. My huge issue with Holmes is that he manages to time his worst moments with our most promising opportunities. Makes the level of frustration outweigh the mistake itself - especially in a side that finds those opportunities so rare.  He's similar to Lawrence, in that regard.

I really hope we send Dowell back.

When cocu Realises that sibley should be on our bench.

Not holding out much hope there then, only stopped persisting with Huddlestone because he ducked himself with the penalty
