It's probably too soon for Whittaker to be a first team squad player, so it definitely is for Ebosele (who plays almost every game on the wings as a RB or RW). I also expect Cocu to recruit for his 433.

GK: Roos, +1
RB: Bogle, Wisdom
CB: Davies, Clarke, Forsyth, +1
LB: Lowe, Malone
DM: Bielik, Huddlestone, Evans
CM: Shinnie, Holmes, Rooney, Knight, Sibley
RW: Waghorn, +1
LW: Lawrence, Bennett
CF: Martin, +1

In: GK, CB, RW, CF
Out: Hamer, Dowell, Paterson, Jozefzoon
Loan out: Mitchell, Buchanan, Bird, Marriott
Slurping cocktails in Dubai: Anya

Thanks for this response - I value the input - I like your ideas, not too disimilar to mine to be honest - I just hate the way squads are massively over inflated and fit young men I judged not capable of playing 3 games a week.

I mean Villa and Liverpool used something like 14 or 15 players back in the day

Yes I do believe there is a player in Jack Marriott and I wish that the youngsters were coming through quicker

As for Andicis and RamLad 1884 thanks for the constructive criticism, I didn't want it but thanks anyway

No drugs and still sane

I love Constructive criticism though thanks

I still have 22 man squad and not mentioned all the youth options

I believe in being lean to be more effective though why waste the coaches time on the likes of Dowell, Anya etc it takes away from the others

Was more sarcastic than anything matey ?

I do understand where you are coming from with your choice of squad but there is a fine line between being lean and too lean.

Like for example in the DM position you've got Bielik with Hudds as backup,

Now Hudds has been injured for a while and Bielik keeps being injured.

I think in most positiions such as DM. AM, LB, RB, we need 1 guaranteed first team player, 1 back up, and then 1 youth/average player.

With regards to our attack, I wouldn't say Marriott, Martin, Bennett would be sufficient at all.

But that's just my two cents ?

He's hardly played. If he's fully fit I'd have him in a heartbeat.

That's the risk.  He did his ACL I think. But that's also exactly why he's likely to be available for a loan... to prove his fitness again at this level.  I'd say he's probably worth a punt - certainly as a loan.

Good call - I will take that - Merry Xmas ?

I hope Cocu realises that after his recent comments he is now under serious pressure to deliver Van Ginkel in January. A bit like how Boris has to deliver brexit in January, except Derby fans aren't as stupid as Boris fans and we'll actually hold him to account if he fails.

GET VAN GINKEL DONE.

I would try get sam winnal he is a leader.

I agree with rest of that.

I feel sorry for clark he was just hitting his best form then gain injury.

I dont think Sam Winnall has played since he left us. Dont know if injury based or just not fancied up there.

Q) Will you be looking for permanent signings or loan signings?

PC: Depending on the situation.

Q) With your pedigree in Europe, will you be looking in Europe in the transfer window? Are we likely to see some players you have worked with before?

PC: It is always possible

Q) Do you expect outgoings? Has there been any interest in your players?

PC: It is always possible.

another sparkling interview from the DET

Seriously, I wouldn't say no to any of those. They are possibles, depending on the investment. I would imagine however that even with sufficient investment all of those in this window would be impossible.

Love all the names being mentioned, however guys in reality, we have already been lead to believe that not much is gonna happen in this transfer window. As much as we need new recruits, its not gonna happen.

Whom from the club has said that/when via which outlet please

You mean we're not going to sign Jarod Bowen for £20m?
