Pretty much the team I had a feeling it would be earlier in the thread except up front... I did not expect Bennett on his own. Don’t get me wrong he more than many would deserve to score a goal that sees Derby up for his desire and endeavour... but for the quality and experience needed In a match like this I can’t help but feel one of the other two should be starting. Worrying me that one, but hope he proves me wrong.

Don’t get how Marriott doesn’t start after his heroics, without him we wouldn’t be here. Must be hard hitting for him to hear he doesn’t start after that. Seems incredibly harsh.

I understand Lamps faith in Bennett after a good performance v Leeds, but Villa are far stronger at the back than Leeds are. 

Still, no-one on our squad is going to want it more ?

It's like Frank has picked this team for a game that lasts 90 mins or maybe 120. We are going to be the strongest team at the end. Cagey first half on the cards maybe. Shame for Holmes he is out

I think Bennett’s role was underrated against Leeds. He broke them and caused 3 of the goals. The space later for Marriott to come on was down to him.

Because Villa will have been expecting it perhaps.

He is not fully fit perhaps.

The manager prefers to start with a formation that doesn't suit him perhaps.

There are more possibilities, of course.
