Surprised to see Malone in although Fozzy didn't do well in the last game he wasn't really any worse than the rest and has done well recently. 

I also thought Mason would be swapped out for Waghorn.

As it stands right now, I don't understand how Bennett has kept his place. Or Nugent for that matter.

But I'll see how the game goes and comment then.

If they have another poor performance I don't see how it can be anything other than just mistakes from Lampard. They were really really poor against Bolton.

Thought we might see more than just the one change tbh. Hope Nuge has had a couple of ProPlus. Not sure Jozefzoon deserves to be omitted again but it's a tough call for young Francis.

Blame @RamNut. Lampard must have read the foreigner DCFC thread and took it the wrong way to mean that we as fans hate foreigners and Brexit means Brexit.

I'm hoping this is just one of those times where more evidence is brought to the table that I am, in fact, not qualified to know what the duck I am talking about.

I hate thinking "I ducking knew it" when things go bad. It really brings my mood down. 

 

EDIT: Also, to be fair folks - if he had dropped Bennett, Jozefzoon would not be in the team. Lawrence would be. So in that sense it's probably a good thing. I want Lawrence to not be confident his place is his, I think it would help him introduce some more clarity to his play.
