Managing the step-up to senior level is the real trick otherwise your youth system is largely pointless. The majority of his job here will be trying to get the best out of older bodies. Anag Ram Posted June 4, 2018 Share Posted June 4, 2018 One thing I would love to see under the new regime is a warm-up in which our players smash the ball repeatedly into the net rather than timid shots straight at the keeper and the occasional crowd shot. I remember Malcolm Allison coming to Bristol Rovers and being amazed the players didn't know how to kick the ball properly.
