Perhaps he wants to work with his ex-Chelsea mates, keep playing at a hard competitive level, and do something special? The link seems a lazy one but I do think we need someone to help organise our defence, we’ve looked far too open and naive in our positioning so far. Wouldn’t want him as a player mind at his age. Paul McGrath anyone? Dont give a monkeys what he does in his personal life, as long as he’s good with a football I’d take anyone at this club. We were both heading for M&S simply food check out, and I am pleased to report I beat him to the check out...they say the first 3 yards are in your head but he is definitely not as quick as he was....?
