Play offs seem nailed on, villa will smash the brumies and over take us

Lets be honest, everyone would have bit your hand off for top 6 if offered at the start of this season

Let's also be honest. If Villa "smash the brumies and over take us" then they'll be 1 point ahead with 15 games to play. Quite far from a foregone conclusion I would say.

Not at it today. Norwich played us off the park and we looked really ragged. Happy to get a point because it probably shouldn't have  even been that. George Thorne once again a passenger, a sad sight and it's got to stop ASAP or games will keep slipping away like they have been in the past 5 or 6. Lawrence and Anya full of running but as always they're 95% wasteful.

Unbeaten in 13 now though? That coupled with Tom Huddlestone's consistent performances are positives at least. Could do with Blues doing us a favour tomorrow.

Onto Tuesday, another cup final and hopefully a better performance and result.

Given that Derby's fortunes improved significantly once Joe Ledley was signed I don't understand why he wasn't playing. This is a disappointing result and hands the initiative to Villa tomorrow. Everyone knows Madison is a good player and quite influential in the Norwich side yet Rowett played a midfield without much bite.He took Thorne off when it was much too late.

A bad day at the office in terms of performance but a point isn’t all that bad.

Fulham, Cardiff and Bristol City all drawing too.

If Villa don’t win tomorrow then it’s a let off and will hopefully give the lads a kick up the backside to push on!

Their form is unreal

They've won six in a row which is impressive, and if they manage to win their next 16 too then fair play to them, can't have any complaints with them going up. But they won't. No team will win every single game remaining and there's nothing like a derby game to ruin your good form and knock you off course. Forest did it to us in 2015, let's hope Birmingham can do the same, they're on good form don't forget.

Regardless of form, Villa can only be a maximum of 1 point ahead of us tomorrow. There's a long, long way to go and there'll be a lot of changing between here and the end I expect. If Villa win, it's all to play for, if Villa draw, it's all to play for, if Villa lose, then you guessed it.
