Rample Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Well done Mason, must have played his way into Rowett's thoughts for the season. He, Blackman and Weimann (and I guess Anya) all looking useful. I'm still not convinced any are the solution for the wide spots given our aims, but you can see them playing important roles over the course of the season. If we were only to sign one winger it would be Weimann of our existing players I'd put my faith in to fill the other spot. Russell down to 5th choice for me. Adslegend Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Very pleased with Bennett's performance today in the second half. Looked a threat and was making things happen throughout the half. Too much hoofing in the first half but in the second half some tidy football with good movement/spaces found by Bennett, Anya and Weimann. Will be interested to see who gets picked. Would like to see Thorne or Huddlestone play next to Brad in midfield with that front four.
