Nugent sharp, Blackman actually looking lively, was the only one running at their defence. Mitchell looked solid too. Negatives - Jamie Hanson can't play at centre half or control the ball - he looks like he has no clue, Bent looks slower than ever and for some reason we we're playing long through balls to him all game which he couldn't get to, Russell was contained by a non league left back quite comfortably, Wisdom looked surprisingly shaky. Not much to worry about as most of these players won't be near the side come the first game, an its more of a fitness exercise regardless. Gary will still be hoping for better second half. Butterfield lacks the ability to pick a pass forwards and takes far too long sitting on the ball and thinking. Bent should leave, even if it's on a free. Would have rather seen Zanzala up front. Gary will still be hoping for better second half. Really? I'd say Nugent, Wisdom, Davies and Forsyth are almost certain to start. And Russell and Bryson have a decent chance too. angieram Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Bright start but deteriorated as the half went on. Bryson and Butterfield do not play well together. Davies looks solid and Blackman bright. Russell struggling and Bent just disinterested. Nugent working hard but no support. Wisdom is a unit but over-committing at times leaving Hanson exposed. At least he was trying to get something going. Their players are pretty physical ( but fair) and we don't appear to like it! Fans causing trouble in away end (embarrassing .)
