I didn’t think it was that bad to be fair

Absoloutely nowhere near his worst

It wasn't but you could tell he was flustered, not the normal us against the rich responses. It's not a good sign when your manager is naming and blaming players for certain situations live on the radio who ever you are.

I’ll always remember the time he dug our Kieron Freeman.

Granted he made a mistake but it was only after they’d had straight runs at our back four time after time that eventually left him in that position.

To summarise, Burton can't keep the ball out the net and that's because players are not doing their jobs, doesn't know why and the fans should ask them. He's never had a problem in 19 years but admits he could be doing it wrong. Don't blame the players though, blame Nigel, boo him, it was him that signed these players that are not good enough.

Oh, he's also got no idea how to change things but they will keep trying, 17 games left starting with Villa Saturday.

Was really inspiring stuff after losing 10 of the last 11 at home.

I do like Nigel but he lets himself down sometimes.

He'd be better off sending Andy Garner out but he usually does that after a big win and hardly ever after a defeat.

If the interviewer asks a stupid question looking for a response or a bite, Nige hasn't got the ability to bite his tongue at all, he says exactly what's on his mind at the time the question is asked.

It's a real shame that even the radio stations have turned to trolling.

Looking at yesterdays decision not to sign any more players looks like we've thrown in the towel and accepted that what will be will be.

not saying we're down, still praying for hoping for and even stupidly half expecting we'll get out of it. One thing he's always been very good at is grinding out a results when he needs it most.

Interesting to see the most activity on this thread in a long times is from those ready and willing to pounce and you all say you've no interest in what he or Burton do.

:-)

You aren't down yet, the problem is the shocking home form. I do hope you pull it round really do.

Thing is you have strengthened with bent coming in, no need for last day panics.

I have always thought clough isnt very good sometimes in interviews, will never forget his Cywka comments.  Like you say he doesnt bite his tongue, maybe too emotional.

I listened to the interview and just wondered what the chap asking the questions knew about football. If he had the slightest bit of knowledge he would have been concentrating on the game not the crowd. He would also know that the crowd were probably out of order and if they realised they are playing in at least one league above their station.
