If Bent is out injured he will be a miss that's for sure, but this gives Vydra a chance to prove himself, not going today, but been before when we took over 4000 fans, great away day out, fans that day were amazing. Well all of you going well done, and get behind the boys, thinking we will win this one 2-0. Both goals coming from Vydra, to give Mac a headache on who to play against the red dogs, once a ram always a ram.

No traffic at all - here really early. Car park starting to fill up.

Enjoying reading the comments about Darren  Bent. How many weeks ago was it since we were all horifled he was starting? Such is the fickle nature of football.

I am just imagining how much better Vydra will be after the same number of weeks learning from McClaren.

Decided to avoid the beer flingers and give the Robin a miss. Sat in some rough hole establishment on some back street in Wigan. Traffic ok on the M6 but 14 miles of roadworks isn't necessary .

At least the footballs on Cahill is the premier leagues Keogh.

Lowe is out with another groin injury, bit worrying at this stage in his career he can't seem to stay fit more than a week or two

Possibly, or maybe with him being young we're being extra cautious with him? Players tend to play with knocks around this time of year, but that's absolutely no need for him to play through the pain barrier when we have another LB.

Yeah quite possible, let's hope it's just that. Olsson is very capable at this level but from what I've seen so far Lowe looks a level above, lets hope his injury isn't anything serious

We look balanced for counter attacking today with Vydra through the middle and no Lowe at left back ( has worrying amount of injuries) hopfully we are nice and solid and clinical in front of goal. ( really good to see a youth forward on the bench in vernam hopefully he gets on and scores for us.
