I think he's the new Paul Jewell - I think he'll get another job or two and do horribly and then fade away into obscurity/get locked up for starting a fight with a chicken

I know a couple of Leicester fans who maintain that the season they got promoted the only reason it happened was injuries to players Pearson wanted to play - They say his starting team that season was un-adventurous, dour and not very good - It was only injuries which meant the decent players had to step in and then they started playing better

Obviously only ever saw them play us that season but the first half of the season does seem to be single goal wins - It was only mid-December they started hitting people hard and broke away at the top

I just think he's the classic mold of British manager who isn't really shrewd enough to know how to change his style or understand that different groups of players need different approaches

Completely agree also there has always been talk that the actually talent in that managerial team were Walsh and Shakespeare.

If he is the next Paul Jewell, then that's one porno I don't want to watch. I'm born and bred in Leicestershire and still live there. Most of my mates are Leicester fans, I find it's best not to listen to anything they tell you

Two very valid points

These are Leicester fans who live in Bedford and London - I just thought that might give them enough distance

Genuinely great to have him back....just what we have missed in his link up play plus a great goal in the first friendly too..bring on the start to the season proper.

Me too. 20+ goals and couples of assists can't wait.

Looking tasty in attack with the Wardrobe linking up.

Missed a sitter is slow as they come but the header to Bennett was gorgeous. Link play was very good and he isn't moaning at folks which is huge, but he played with Bennett Anya Johnson and Elsnik all who made impressions and he didn't have to suffer having Butterfield Russell and Bent alongside him, all who were tosh. The team has far less talent now so he can step up and fill the gap from having lost 3 of our finest.
