Apparently an Efl rule somewhere states that penalties (-12 points) are not applied if the club can prove that there have been ‘unforeseeable or unavoidable events’. And this is why the statement takes no blame but also blames everyone else
The statement was very carefully worded. It wasn't an accident covid 19 was mentioned so many times. It also states the club would have been profitable had it not been for covid. All intentional.
There is a section in the Efl according to the guardian that mentions special circumstances and administration.
A part of me thinks the deal with the investors might still go through and the whole thing is planned.
...Maybe I'm clutching at straws. Desperation does that to a person.

Is keogh a creditor?

So who owns the stadium?

He could well be the difference between staying up and going down.

It all reminds of the film Moneyball, where Brad Pitt sells the senior players to make sure the coach plays the players he wants played.
Mel wants youth. No new players for WR under the guise of Embargo.

Why do stop playing when we take the lead? We've lost loads of points with this flawed strategy.

I think he's got potential to be a fan favourite. Journeyman find a home with the Rams. I like the story.

Let's imagine if the team were doing really well. I bet there would be a significant amount of fans crediting LR. It's all bias. No one really knows outside the club the dynamic of the coaching set up. Silly thread.

Now we've changed our style not to match up with the opposition and play our own way we'll be fine. It won't be great but not relegation.
Why we decided to do that last season is still beyond me.

I keep reading things about an article John Percy wrote in which he referred to an American Consortium as "the dream"
Did anyone read that? If so was it about this American Consortium?
I thought the same thing. I can't fully remember the article though.

Most fans would have appointed Cocu given his track record.

Rooney and the management team, if you can call them that, look very relaxed.

Why is Morrison coming off. He helps control the game. Need that when defended a lead
