This can’t be contested. It’s been a dreadful season. Points dedications and terrible refereeing decisions aside. We’ve distinctly underperformed.
Terrible refereeing decisions, you should be in league one, no seriously, you should be in league one 🙂

Finish 17th with the supposed lowest ever tally to survive
or finish 20th with the lowest points tally ever..
I know what I’d pick.
Also, the PL has changed since the decades you were in it. This 40 points to survive malarkey isn’t needed anymore. 35 seems to be more than enough given the dominance of clubs like Arsenal, Pool and City.
The top are gaining more, the bottom less.
The European cup has changed since you were in it as well, don’t stop you going on about it though.🙄

So turns out the council have offered the freehold to Forest for £10m, aka what they paid JLingz for one year, and all the talk of increased rent was a red herring to try and convince the fans they had no choice but to move.
Makes you glad we no longer have a hierarchy who take the piss with the information they give the fans
In light of the ridiculous amount they have spent on players in the last two or three years this quote from their chairman is quite ironic.
£250 million over 250 years. 😂

Do you have more specific information than that? For instance, the opening weekend is August 10th. How many weeks before that will the games up to the end of the year (3rd round FA Cup is always first weekend of the new year) be announced. As far as seeing the games is concerned, I will see them all here in Amsterdam via my #RamsTV subscription. I come over for around 8 home games a season and like to plan well ahead in order to get the cheapest flights/hotel rooms. First and last home games of the season are usually ones I target. The rest are dependent on the opposition, games moved for TV (which looks like not a problem this coming season) and international weekends.
Thanks in advance... Amster.
It’s all on the EFL website, Q and A.

Gone on sale this morning, over 200 in the South stand now down to 90.
6,738 seats available.
Matchday tickets at the start of last season was just over 6,000 but this didn’t include East stand blocks I upper and H lower which are now included.
No idea whether all the seats are now available or if they will add others if we get close to a sellout.
Only 34 left now in the South stand.

Who by? Blackpool Tourist Board.
I haven’t been to Blackpool since the 90’s and I doubt it has changed. Perhaps they might have replaced a few lightbulbs.
Not exactly Simon Calder then are you 😉

Yeah, but when you go outside those hotels you find Blackpool.

The old promotion was good enough for 100 years, the play offs are an interference to a fair promotion purely for extending the interest of more clubs for a longer period of time and to feed the media frenzy.
We have 46 games to decide who should go up, it's totally illogical for a team who have out performed another team by many points over those 46 games, to be robbed of a deserved reward by one moment of bad luck, bad play or bad refereeing.
Just because we know the rules at the start of the season, it doesn't mean that those rules are just and fair.
The top two teams are promoted, the next four get a chance, why is that not fair.
Just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t make it wrong.Lots of rules have changed over the last hundred years.

Where have all the good deals gone?
Currently in the middle of Scotland on a break and coming back to mid England tomorrow but was hoping to have a stop about halfway around Northumberland or into the North Yorkshire (got a toddler, it’s given decent weather, slight extension to holiday) but I can’t find anything for under £100.
Swear at one time you’d even be able to get someone’s back room for £30 but this doesn’t seem to exist anymore or something cheap at the last minute and it seems impossible.
Might be a case of getting somewhere and going round a few hotels with vacancies or is their a secret website that hotels sell off their unsold rooms
Blackpool has 81 hotels under £75 pounds for three guests.

I don’t get this, if you finish third you deserve to go up mentally.
At the start of the season everyone knows the rules, top two you are promoted, next 4 positions get you into a knockout competition.

Bitter and cider, so that's a John Smiths and a Strongbow, surprised it was that much, nobody normal drinks that muck these days.
£4.40 with my regular discount down the local for a Madri, looking £5.50 elsewhere at least.
Seafront prices 🙂
